This is about 20 minutes after teaching Milo to play dead for the first time XD He's not too brilliant! Too wriggly! hehehe... Still alot to learn, like getting him to do it from standing.

Haha, I think it's cute that he wriggles so much though. XD

hehe. I can get milo to leave a treat on his paw but i tried to put one on his non-existent nose. he would hold it there but as soon as i said ok to let him take the treat he would bite to catch it but by the time he did that it was already on the floor. So slow!

Wow, you are so good at that I even fell down and played dead!

Well once you have both worked out how to do it I bet it will be perfect. The best I have done with Hektor was leave, and I got him to leave his treat on the floor for a whole minute. Need to get back to that.

He is trying, just doesn't understand that you cannot move around when you are dead

Well, i got bored and couldnt think of a trick to do, i had just watched 'Come dine with me' and someone got their dog to do that on there (although their dog just sort of layed on its front) ANYWAY, yeah, i thought i'd try it with Milo and as he didn't want to be lured with a treat onto his side i just picked him up and lay him on his side, he lay there quite still so i clicked and then i followed up with a treat. I'll have to look through my book to see how it's really done as i can only get Milo to do it if hes already sort of leaning on the side he's meant to roll on to. Will have to see how it goes i suppose. I'll have to go through all the tricks i taught him, or he might forget. Will have to get him to start closing my laptop again before he forgets that! You should teach them tricks, they can do all the chores. Ha. If only they could vacuum too.. Hey im sure they could with a small enough vacuum cleaner..I might have to try that out of curiosity. If we still had our small vacuum i could have at least taught him to turn it on and off :(

Anyways, with the skateboard..not too sure. Haven't had much time to teach it but now i have some time so i'll have to continue the training with that! Skateboarding is pretty difficult to teach, i think. Will have to start re-teaching 'limp' and brush up on crossing his paws. Poor little Peawee, he only knows how to high five, wave and sit...And i taught him all of that! Mum should spend more time with him really.

Wow, you snuck this one in on me, well done, now you must tell me how you started him out with it, wonder if I could do that with Lucas, the other three are worthless to try anything with. Frankly I'm not at all good with the trick training. I am good at getting them to do the boring stuff, but that pretty much is just what should be done were they in the ring. Never really tried to do trick things with them. How's the skateboard thing going?

Ha, they are pretty quick learners though. I didn't think Milo could ever learn this as i could never manouvre him onto his side so in the end i picked him up and lay him on his side. When i showed my mum this video she thought he was having a seizure, he's that bad! :P

He is certainly is learning, I think that most Pugs are clever little beggars who know exactly how to work us, so why not tricks. Good on you and Milo.
