Visit with Dr Marty at Smith Ridge Vet Clinic in Salem NY

We went for our visit and heard some great stories about dogs and cats that this clinic has been able to extend their lives in a quality manner and allowing pets to eventually pass from natural causes instead of being put down.

Casper has had mast cell disease since she was 1 and though they have never been cancerous I have had to monitor her and take swift action. at 14.5 she has very little vision left and chronic eye ulcers. chronic infections and progressive arthritis. Otherwise she is happy and wanting to move around explore and be involved in our every day activities. She also still has her constant appetite.

The doctor showed me a photo of a black pug he first saw at 13 years old. she had progressive arthritis, diabetes, incontinence and other ailments she was brought to him as a last resort. He was able to stabilize the diabetes and help the arthritis and all of her inflammatory disease so much that she did not die of natural causes until after her 23 birthday.

He makes no promises but takes bloods and does a thorough analysis of the history and blood work to determine which supplements and homeopath and traditional medicines and treatment for a very directed course of therapy.

I'm waiting for a fax of his initial report today and hope to have her on her way to better more comfortable and balanced life.

keep checking back for updates.

I would highly recommend a visit to this clinic if you have a need and better yet for health pets to stay that way!

Wow Madison this does sound interesting it's amazing the black pug lives till 23 I'm sure Casper will benefit from this I am a great believer in homeopathy I wish I could take ET but so far he is doing really well touch wood he stays fit I'm doing everything I can to keep him healthy he still goes for reiki and accupuncture once a week and then also the Bio - prep which I import from the USA the last package has got lost so I'm really praying it comes soon.

I will keep Casper in my prayers you really are doing everything possible she is worth it but she has a great mom taking care of her. Hugs to Casper
