Hello, want to thank again everyone for your prayers thoughts & concerns, they are forever deeply appreciated! You all are the best! I have been online some, but just can't sit up for long periods of time & when I am sitting up I have been in pain. I hate taking any kinds of meds. & went off pain pills two days after surgery as I have heard too many horror stories about them, so it has been a bit of a rough time trying to ignore the pain. But I am better, each & everyday I see progress. I have good days & bad days, but now I am mostly experiencing bad nights due to the pain, but this too shall pass. I am just glad the surgery is over & I am looking forward to finally walking again. Shini is doing great! We brought her home from vets from being boarded there for my surgery & we were a little concerned about her hyperness & jumping up on my leg. When we got her home, we did the happy hellos & got our lovins & gave her hers. And after that when she calmed down, daddy picked her up & showed her my leg & she sniffed at it a few mins. and has been a perfect angel since. It is like she knows. She is surely amazing! And also wanted to clear up something else, Shini has not been fixed yet, somehow that information got mixed up. Her surgery will be this upcoming week. Mike has been an EXCELLENT caretaker and did I say EXCELLENT?! He has been super fantastic! He has kept the house spotless as I like it w/out being asked, which I figured once I healed I would have alot of work to do as with any man that is a bit sloppy normally (LOL) so I wasnt too concerned about it. He has been fantastic w/Shini as well, as a matter of fact it looks like I have lost my doggy. She is like totally his now. LOL!! And he is LOVING it! He acts like a proud father and grins when she chases him around house now & wants his cuddling instead of mine as much. This house will never be the same. He tells me he will get me a dog when I heal, I tell him I don't want a doggy I want Shini. LOL But she is fine, she stills loves mommy & you can tell. So whether we will get another remains to be seen or we may just keep the one Miss Shini & fight for her affections. LOL We laugh about this subject alot!! Hope everyone is doing good themselves. Thanks again and don't forget to hug your pugs!

Thank you Di, we love our vet & his wife & all the workers there, so we know she will be in good hands, but it will be great when she is back in our hands.

HA HA HA HA that made me laugh!  Reminds me of my mom.  My husband, mom and I were driving to Florida a few years ago to visit my Grandparents and of course had to stop for some Georgia chocolate covered pecans. My mom must have sat on the bag and they melted.  We got up to stretch at the next pit stop and right smack dab on her butt in the perfect spot was a smashed pile of chocolate.  Needless to say, we took a picture.  Maybe I'll have to post ha ha!

I was in the VA Hospital some 5 years ago or so for a couple of weeks getting some old injuries redone....again and again.  I had one of those huge Hershey Chocolate Bars in bed with me.  I was breaking off little chunks of it while reading a book, of course I fell asleep.  There were a couple of younger Marines flanking me on either side in their beds.  To make a long story short, I feel asleep reading with the chocolate bar in bed with me.  When we woke up the next morning I smelled something really sweet.  Of course none of us were completely awake yet.  When I got out of bed and started to make it, (we do these things at the VA).  I noticed brown chunks of stuff on the sheets and then looked at my stomach and legs, brown chunks there also.  Of course at first I though OMG!  I did myself in my sleep, dang never ever have I done that before.  Then I saw the chocolate wrapper with melted chocolate in it.  I got both Marines attention and said HEY!  Check this out I poo'd on myself last night, look it's all over me!  They both turned and looked the same time I took a big chunk of my chest and ate it.  I thought they were both going to puke right then and their!  That was one of my more classic one's.  I shall never cease to derive the greatest amount of pleasure re-running their expressions through my mind.  They so thought I was eating my poo.  IT WAS GREAT!  So much for hard core Marines, yessiree!!

Mmmmmmmmm that is my weakness.  The bad part is you can't have one either.  If I'm gonna indulge, I'm gonna INDULGE!  My mom likes cold chocolate too!  I like it cold, melted, room temperature, smashed - you name it!

Glad you are feeling somewhat better, we have missed you.  Don't worry about Shini's surgery, she will be a real trooper and come home good as new.

My brother has a candy drawer in his kitchen he made especially for me. And when I go there & just get into his kitchen drawers I have had his friends & my friends just look at me like I am rude. LOL He explains to them that his baby sister is a brat & that I make him keep a candy drawer for me. LOL! But he also has my girl scout cookies every year as well. He keeps my Thin Mints (which he hates) in his freezer. I asked him one time why he puts those in the freezer, he said they taste better that way he had heard. And by georgie...............they sure do! Amazing! So my Thin Mints are in the freezer here too.
