Tin Tin loves squeezing into all the narrow gaps that are there between any wall and sofas, cabinets, tables, beds, you name it. For instance, in our bed room, there is a cabinet on which our TV and audio system are kept and between that and the wall, there is a bit of a gap. Tin Tin squeezes into that and then finds it difficult to come out. And his whining starts. My hubby or I pull him out and you’d think, he’d be relieved. No sir, he shrugs thoroughly (I am yet to figure out why), takes a pause, and again gets into the gap…. and the rest of the sequence is the same. Maybe it has now become a fun game for him. Now, there is another gap between the head of my bed and the wall, and Tin Tin loves this cosy space too. So, early this morning around 4 a.m., when my hubby got up for water and switched on a light, Tin Tin woke up, and having woken up, did not think fit to go back to sleep without a bit of mischief. So off he went for that cosy space and got into the gap. Once there, he could not come out, and his whimpers started. My hubby had, meanwhile, started checking out something on the computer, so he did not bother (Men!!!). So yours truly was woken up and had to pull Tin Tin out. But I pushed the bed as close to the wall as possible before going back to sleep and also held Tin Tin in a snuggly grip for a wee little while. But he soon escaped and promptly went for the gap again. And realised that there was no gap anymore, so he reconciled to his fate and came and settled down at my feet. Soon momma and puggy were fast asleep once again…
