Another amazing season is here and it's a season that is filled with sun and fun but, also a dangerous one and one danger is the heat that it brings and for our four-pawed wonders not a good thing. This is a time where we need to use caution making sure they have fresh water and keeping a close eye on them when out doing those potty breaks and the Not-To-Do is taking them out in the car as each year we have many who are lost due to owners and not paying attention. One great law we animal advocates got passed was breaking windows if we see an animal left in a hot car which for me has always been the thing to do and we still have those dumb owners who still won't learn.I'm one who will not take my furbabes out when it is hot as they stay in with the ac's going and we have those quick potty breaks as i watch them and i get them back in and as far as walking keep it short if you must and walk them in the morning and watch roadways as the pavement stays hot and can burn their paws. It's just using your head which i still run into those who don't seem to have one and yes they know me quite well, let's just say i'm someone to be reckoned with especially when it comes to those furbabes, you all need to use that head that you were born with as my mom always said, keep pets indoors, keep them cool, keep walks short-in the AM,just use common sense.Be a good furbabe parent nothing hard in that.

"Update my boy milo still has them and is 10 soon. Raw diet calms the severity and frequency but he had one just now. He spaced out, got dizzy and flopped over onto his side. Went rigid for ten seconds and back to normal"
