Lucas did something last night that screamed having a camera in hand, alas that was not to be. He had followed me into the kitchen with his tummy not looking as full as it usually is, I decided I would put down just a bit of puppy chow for him which I did, Mother and big brother of course had to check out the goings on so were in with us.

Lucas starting eating his food, Malia was hovering over him with her nose just as close to his bowl as possible, nudging him a bit on occasion trying to get a nibble for herself, which being the dutiful son he did allow. Jebadiah was circling around on the periferals, looking for his opportunity, of course Lucas was keeping a wary eye on him, not so magnamious of feeling towards Jeb obtaining any of his windfall snack. This went on for a few minutes with the three of them. Lucas finally stood back just far enough to be in control of the bowl yet with adequate room to allow Jeb to receive the full effect of the 'don't even try it bub' look.

I continued to prepare some tunafish salad for a sandwich, took a moment to look down and backwards to see how this minor feeding session was going to find that Lucas was gone, upon further investigation so to was his food bowl. This circumstance peaked my curiosity so I went in search of Lucas to find him by his self-proclaimed spot, the recliner. What was in his mouth? His food bowl complete with what was left of his small portion of nummies. The little smarty pants had decided that it was just too busy in the kitchen with the two bigger members trying to put to snatch on his prize and he took off with it to consume it at his leisure without any interference from Mom and big brother. Where o where was the camera for this priceless clip. On the dining room table.

I did manage to get the camera and power it up for just a short look at what he was doing with his food, had he been able to get the bowl behind the recliner (that failed) he would have stayed right there till it was all gone. I shall post what little I did get of his carrying around his food stash. Oh....but I wish I could have captured the whole episode on film. I think there shall come another opportunity...if so...I shall be better prepared. A nice day to all!

Sounds like you have one smart little puggie in your home there Brent. Must make Jeb a little weary and leery of this little chap

Sound hilarious Brent, I do wish you had managed to get it on camera. I told that Pup was the one to watch.

Hektor with Jetta and Cara

"Looking back at my boy's life, sad that his friend Jetta died very young. She had bad legs and very Mich else wrong. Hektor could be said to have been an elderly gentleman when he passed on."
