Does anyone know anything about the puppy apartments? Mike & I checked them out online & they sound like a FANTASTIC thing, ESPECIALLY for pugs! If any of you have used these could you please let us know? We are getting ready to purchase one, but thought we would ask for some feedback first. Thanks.

I just posted pics of her 1 bedroom apartment. We went to Tractor Supply & paid $69.00 for the crate & $10.00 for the bed to go in it. The beds online were all $20.00 and up. So $79.00 verses $300.00 was a great deal. Yes Bebe, the puppy pads are great. We used newspaper at first, but after buying the puppy pads, we were sold! The newspapers were very messy and the urine would run off onto the floor, w/the puppy pads this doesnt happen. We are in DOG HEAVEN right now. She has her water bottle & feeder in it & good to go when we have to go somewhere w/out her. We are always hurrying to get back home to take her out to potty. Now we can go to dinner & relax & enjoy our meal, and take our time shopping.

Check Amazon. That's where I bought mine. I use to use my crate for two pugs one on each side, But I do like this idea for when I am not home. Puppies do have accidents. I have an extra crate right now because Tuffy is at my daughters’ house, on a trial run to see if she is compatible with a pug. I also am thinking about breeding Bebe maybe on her next heat. She is still puppy at heart and still petite.

I have not used puppy pads before, but if I have several puppies I may start.

Bebe, Thats what I was thinking. I checked at Walmart & they have the size crate we would need for Shini & it has the divider for like $59.00, and the bed pad for like $20.00, much cheaper than the one we first saw. so we are going that route. Mike is a darn good handyman, so he is going  to cut the door out of the divider & smooth it down. So $80.00 sure beats $300.00. Still checking around online, but I am thinking that, that is about the cheapest we will find. /Chelsea, I am sure hoping that is not how it will be for Shini. She seems to do good w/ the puppy pads now, so hoping that this too will work for her & us. I can't take her out & walk her w/my broken leg, so Mike takes her out, but times that he is not here, we have to depend on the puppy pads, and w/my upcoming leg surgery, this will be ideal again, for the times Mike is not here. Shini seems to know the difference. She does good on puppy pads for me, but when Mike takes her out, she does good there as well. She doesn't even whine to go out if Mike is not here, I swear she knows mommy can't get her out in time, so just use the puppy pad. LOL

Great Idea! I always buy crates with two or three doors and most of them come with a divider also that can be made to work like this. Great Idea!

Well w/puppy pads, the cloth bed & the crate all together will be about $300.00 for med size. The small size goes up to I think 21 lbs. So we were figuring the medium size. But then we were thinking we could probably get by w/the small size (which is much cheaper). Just hate to get a small & then wish we had of gotten the medium.

I like it!  At first I wondered about the sleeping section being so small and thought oh this is just a crate and it will teach them to go in their crate...not good.  But after watching further and seeing how it works and the explanation for the small living area which then you find out can be increased as puppy grows it all makes good sense.  I didn't get to the how much does it cost  But it sounds like a neat thing.  I'd try it.

Shini does so good w/ her pottying, the other day for some odd reason she peed on the living room carpet. We use puppy pads at the door for those times we are busy & may not catch her, and she goes to them GREAT, but she doesnt always hit the pad, sometimes it hits beside the pad on the linoleum.
