Oh I would try coconut oil (baking section on grocery store) if he licks it that's ok because coconut oil helps fight against yeast! Change to a fish or salmon food and give a digestive enzyme along with omega three fish oil!!!

Hi Christine, i have the same problem with Pepe! I'm wondering if someone can give me some advice? Pepé is only 8 months old and since he has been 5 months he has had dark slinnoartches under his arms and legs and is itchy and is now losing hair because of it! He has been to the vets but they just give him anti biotics which work for a bit and then it comes back straight away. I'm thinking he is allergic to something so am trying to change his diet as well as buying supplement for him. Is there a good ointment I can apply to his skin to make him more comfortable and not scratch till he it's himself? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Rufus only ever gets dark patches when his skin is infected but Brian was just saying his Otis has darkened patches of pigmentation which don't cause any problems, perhaps it's just that?
If you have been to the vet and they gave the all clear I wouldn't worry! I just know with rufus that it's a sign to get him to the vets for some medicated shampoo or antibiotics as he has suffered with his skin since being a small puppy. His skin is usually a lovely pale pink colour but once it shoes signs of getting darker it doesn't take long for it to get itchy and then it spreads. I have spent far too much time, energy and money getting his skin in a good condition so I constantly check him!

~Hektor has yeast issues and he has dark patches under his front legs, on the bit of his neck which seems to be affected, his tummy is still pink. Cannot remember every noticing any change in the other two's bodies.

Sasha the fawn, no itchy or no scratching we ended up going to the vet today for out annual wellness exam and all is good!! I had read thyroid could be an issue so I was a bit worried but both girls are all A ok!

My Lily and Lulu both had dark tummies, I was always trying to clean them, the groomer said they were not dirty.  Linus has really nice pink tummy, and Lizzy's is a little darker, but then she is black.

Nope ,just Jade who ended up with bacterial and yeast infections on her skin..:(..Which pug are you noticeing it,fawn or black? And what color is the skin normally? Some have pink skin some have a darker color..I wouldnt worry unless there is itching or any raised areas, bumps etc.
