I'm hoping someone can help me find out it there is a pug rescue group in Sonoma County.  The lady from the group was at the Pug Social this morning, with a number of rescue pugs available for adoption.  My son absolutely fell in love with one of the brindles she brought (Bella), but I didn't get her name or her rescue group's name.  If anyone knows who I'm referring to (or if you are the lady) please let me know.  As a possible hint the pugs she brought were rescued from an overcrowding situation in Sacramento.  So, I'm not really sure if she's based in Sonoma County area, but I'm hoping she is.

We are looking to get a fawn pup puppy female. We currently have a black 1 yr old fixed male. We just put down our 16 yr old pug two weeks ago and my husband is looking for a female fawn..thank you.

there are three other brindle females that are equally cute, but she's the one my son was drawn to.

Don't worry, I completely understand why they go into such detail.  Based on some of the stories I've heard from the animal shelter people (Petaluma Animal Shelter--I work for the City of), everyone should have to go through this type of form for any kind of animal.  It's just interesting to me that the rescue's form is more detailed than the ones they use at shelters!  Oh well, if it happens, it happens, if not I'm not going to be too sad--we still have our Frank!

It is just like adopting a child. I've done it twice and one required a home visit. I am. It is just to assure they go to good homes who are a match for their needs and personalities. Its no big deal. Good luck!

Thank you Kristen for the link.  This is the same rescue that was at the park Sunday, and Bella was listed as one of the available pugs.  Took a look at their adoption form--boy oh boy, almost like trying to adopt a baby/child!  Will fill it out & see what happens......

Thanks paul! My girls are all fixed but I would've loved if they had come with puppies as I absolutely love them all for different reasons. I do have addie and she is absolutely precious and would've have had perfect puppies!

Just went and ck'd out all the sweet pugs they have.  They would all make wonderful pug companions.  Praying they  each find their new forever homes.

When you can't travel with your pugs ...

When traveling and can't take our babies with us we used to have a friend stay with them at the house. She let us know that they spend most of their time by the front door waiting for mama to come home. That broke my heart. Velma even tries to escape to "look for mama." One time it was many hours before she was found -- so so scary. Now we leave the girls at a friends house who has a doggie daycare. They do okay there but really keep to themselves/huddle together in a corner. I'm so conflicted.…See More
