When you wrote this there were some problems but they seem to be resolved for the moment. So you have new neighbours, with friends for the pups. We too are becoming quite a doggy street, though Hektor is not too happy with that. We have a little terrier across the road called Robbie, now he got a real warm welcome from the resident Pug, then we got a delightful lady German Shepherd, name forgotten, she too was not warmly welcomed but then she was very protective of her Mum. Hektor was in his travel bix in the car when we met the newist pup, a very shy Staffordshire Bull terrier lady, Hektor was barking of course at that. The major trouble is my lovely next door neighbour is a bit wary of dogs, well Hektor has not exactly been himself with all the workmen around, but she said the other day at least he is not barking at me. I smiled and said she was getting him on a quiet day.

"If you have a new baby, I don't think a puppy would be a good choice.  Both take a lot of time.  Perhaps adopt an older pug?"
