Mike & I had someone ask us about the "One Bedroom Puppy Apartment" that we got for Shini when we got her @ just 4 months old. So we thought we would share it out here for all of you's (especially ones with new pups).

NOTE: What Mike & I did was went to Tractor Supply store & bought the same cage which comes with a divider & Mike cut out a door (was a piece of cake with a pair of side cuts in about three minutes flat). The ones online they want like $400.00. We bought the same exact cage for like $79.00 & the bed pad that they wanted ALOT for we also bought the exact one they had, only we also got it oat our local Tractor Supply store for like $9.99 and walla.........we have the same puppy apartment as they do online, only for ALOT cheaper price. Total we paid for  the one we got $89.00. The only difference is theirs had a side door for the potty part, but you could always add one if need be, but we leave ours open all  the time & Shini just walks across her bed pad to get to her potty area, which is no big deal. It has truly been the best money we have ever spent. Especially when I was laid up after surgery & Mike had to be gone, there was no way I could get up to get her out. It is also in our opinion, the VERY, VERY best tool in potty training! Shini was taught with that cage & we truly have absolutely no mess ups in her pottying AT ALL. As we had been told we would with pugs. She always goes to her puppy apartment if we don't get her out in time. Also, when we have to go somewhere & she does not go with us, we put her in the puppy apartment & latch it closed & it keeps her out of mischief (LOL), she has her food & water and safe. Here is the addy to our photo's here on Pugslife, you can check them out & also there is an addy for the "One Bedroom Puppy Apartments" on Youtube, which is a step by step video of how to start your puppy out & how the puppy apartment is such a great benifit, we HIGHLY recommend you to watch the video.

Here is the addy to check out our pics of Shini's apartment.

Hope this helped, we recommend every dog home have one. They are amazing to say the least!

Also here is the Youtube addy. which explains how to use it and train them to it in minutes. It only took our Shini 20 minutes & we had pee & poo in the apartment on the pad and to this day, we have NO slip ups at all from her. If we can't get her out in time, bingo right on the puppy pad she goes like a charm!! We kid you NOT!! Simply AMAZING, the best thing that hit the market!

Also just a tid bit to add. A couple of our immediate family members have a key to  our place and all the neighbors have our cell numbers & the family members phone numbers in case of an accident (heaven forbid a fire etc.) and find one trusted neighbor at least that you trust that when you are gone they will know where you will be hiding a key. We learned this the other day when the neighbor lady heard Toko & Shini going nuts in here, but could not get in to help. About that time, we pulled in. LOL What it was, was that Shini knows our Jeep when it is a mile away (same as she knows my sons truck, we always know he's coming before he gets here) and she started the music when she knew the sound of our Jeep (which got Toko going as well), but the neighbor lady heard all the ruckus. So it got us to thinking, what if it had of been a fire or something. So just thought we would pass that along as well. Also stickers in your windows of the home stating animals inside. Okay enough already lol, check out the One Bedroom Puppy Apartment, you won't regret it!
