Malia the pug contemplates the years

Some bring smiles and others bring tears

Her lover and husband gallantly left her side

For his time had come, silently she cried

The Rainbow Bridge beckoned him to come

She said “goodbye” - a life chapter is done.

She bore his pups with loving grace

And raised them well with a final embrace

To their new homes they go as she gave a sigh

“Hold me Puggyman, help me say “goodbye”

Give me hugs and some time to grieve

I’ll really be okay, just you wait and see

Hold me a bit more and my strength will renew

I have Lucas, Misti, Jeb and they love me too

Pugman asked I post a blog of this when I sent it to his home page.  I thought it was sweet that he was holding her alot more than usual.

Well it just came to me.  Malia is the quiet strength - raising puppies, staying out of the limelight.  She deserves big time attention and love!
