just wondering if anyone has tried or has their pugs on a food called Natures Domain sold in Costco ,we are thinking of changing to it as we feed Natural balance rt now and it is $65.00 Canadian a bag, Costco sells Natures Domain for $40.00 and it looks almost the same ingredients as Natural balance the protein   is about 24% 3 % higher then Natural balance any input would be helpful!

Money and protein wise, it sounds like it's worth a try.  Mix them together at first for taste, you know how our puggies are so fussy.  I've had my pugs over the years on Solid Gold; gosh, it must be about 20 years now!  I should write to them and tell them I've stuck with them all these years!  :0)

sorry Di I misread your post and thought you were saying $65 does NOT sound like alot for a bag of food lol anyways I did buy the food from Costco and looks like all great ingredients and grain free and a HUGE bag so we will see how it goes!

I haven't bought it yet although I have thought about it.  I usually go to www.doggiefood.com or a couple of other sites and buy up some bags when they are having a sale and free shipping.  I only use grain free.  Usually I end up paying around $45 for 28 lb bag of California Natural venison or $45 to $55 for a 28 lb bag of Evo depending on the flavor.  The servings are not as big as other products with the high quality so that makes a bag last a bit longer.

thanks Leslie the one I am looking at is grain free it is made by the same company of taste of the wild but is exclusive to Costco, Di I know $64 is not bad for a bag but I looked at Natures Domain and it is very comparable to Natural Balance so I think if I can save some money and not compromise quality

I was feeding our Pug Iams, but there seemed to be skin issues developing (itchy, itchy, itchy!).  I've been giving him the Costco Kirkland dog food & everything is going well.  Also, grains are not the first ingedient, so that seems to have been the issue.

Sorry Mary cannot help you on this food as I do not go to Costco, and I have never heard of this food.  $65.00 does seem like a lot of money for a bag of food.  I pay about $30 for a 15lb bag of Canidae which I use.
