My sister stayed home today from work because my mum has got worse, she found her in the garden this morning crying and feeding the birds, she was crying because the birds were gone.

Later on i asked her if she was ok and she started crying and rubbing the back of her hand and she said i was telling her off. She wanted me to make her some breakfast so i did and she tried feeding peawee bits off of her plate i said no we're not allowed to do that and she quickly took her hands away and giggled like a toddler and she said peawee was called timmy. (A dog she had as a child) and Peawee and Milo licked her finger and she started giggling and clapping and she kept doing it. Then later on she slowly came around like normal all day and now she's being a child again and i had to cook dinner with my sister and she was watching tv and started saying "Tea Time!" all excited. Then she was crying for her 'mummy' and said she wanted to go home, but was at home. It's not like her at all.. We asked her how old she was and she started crying. I'm finding it difficult to cope and i just hope she isn't permanantly going to be like this :( I wish she never got knocked down and banged her head... She can be fine one minute then be a child the next.

It's snowing though, which is cool..

I just read about your nan passing. Please know that it was just her time and it sounds like she didn't have a very good quality of life lately. She is now free from pain and healthy and happy. Be thankful that her suffering has ended. Keep her memory alive thru talking about the good times. Much love to you sweet girl.

Sophie sorry about your nan. I know it is very hard to see those you love in pain, so like we all have said we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I know how you feel about your prayer, as when I was your age my Nana was in a nursing home and not doing well. I prayed that night for the good lord to take her to heaven, and she died the next day. Was it my prayers or was it just meant to be, God only knows the answer to that question.

My nan has had cancer in the past before i was born but beat it. Now after many many years of smoking she got lung cancer. She also had a colostomy bag done recently and there's an infection which is making her weak, so she's got to reocver fromt hat before having chemo so it's kind of difficult for her, but she isn't scared..She doesn't have much of a chance now but she's lived a pretty long life and good one.. This is a pretty crap year though. My Aunty has cancer, nan has it and mum got hurt. Sucks, huh. :/ Oh well... Thankyou all tho :)

I ran into a guy while stationed in Karlshruhe Germany, we were both on bikes, it was night time and I was hauling with no headlight and on the wrong side of the street. I got to go to court over that one. Got to stand in that little docket in the middle of the court room with a German friend as translater. It was some Turkish guy, he got carried away in an ambulance also. I paid out the nose for that one, but I was in the wrong, sometimes lessons are hard learned. I was all of 17 years old at the time.

Thinking about you Sophie, glad that she is better, sad about your Nan, but don't think it is because you chose, she is elderly and none of us know when the time has come. Take care, and it as nice of you to give Carol help with her dog whilst you have so much trauma yourself. Helena

Sophie I can't imagine how hard this must be for you. If it's a concussion then I would think your mum should be ok. Maybe not the same as before but ok. I don't know I'm no Dr. But I will definately keep praying for all of you.

I wish I could fly over to England and give you a huge hug and be by your side. You are young way too young to have all of this you are als o a very spirited young lady that will prevail. :) Your Mum will probably get better over time since it is a concussion. Today I was working in the emergency room and there was a student who got a concussion from an accident and she couldn't remember anything but the outcome is good because she will heal. Actually I thought about your Mum when I was talking with her today. I'm sorry about your nan as lung cancer is a tough one. What a gift you are giving them by being so loving. It really warms my heart :)))))

Something weird too...

When my mum got really bad and they rushed her to hospital for scans suspecting a brain bleed/clot i prayed that night that my mum would be ok even if it meant i had to lose my nan. Basically my nan has lung cancer and is in hospital.. She was getting better. Obviously i love my nan and i've known her for 17 years, but, if i had to choose between the two of them it would be my mum, i don't want to lose my mum after 17 years of knowing her. After that i just got the news my nans health is deteriorating and my mum is fine and the scans results were ok. It's really weird, cus i don't believe ina ll that stuff. It's so sad, i wish they could have both been ok but i find it weird how after saying that it happened... It sounds mean, but i don't want to lose my nan but it's odd, it's like i had to choose between them.. I don't knwo. I wish my nan could be ok but she's really old now, and my mum isn't and i'drather have my mum for as lonbg as possible :(
