Social network for pugs and their people.
Well, I guess my last post wasn't really the "last" Rocky update since people wanna know who he's doing.
Rocky is doing great! He completely remembered us and when he saw me, his tail was going a mile a minute. In response, I gave him like a hundred kisses. Once we stepped in the house, a quick sniffing tour reminded him of where everything was. He's wee-wee pad trained and remembered exactly where we station it. The other puggies were happy to see him and it's almost as if he never left. Almost, because he does seem a little confused. I feel so bad for him sometimes because he's been shuffled around so much, but he's home permanently now. None of the things the other family said has been in evidence with us, funny enough. He's fine, he's just not a "solitary" dog, he loves people to be around (a pug trait anyway). On his first night home, he was sitting on the couch with Jodi and I walked by twice. The third pass had him crying a little, so I sat next to him. He put his head on my lap and fell asleep.
It is so great to have him back, especially after all the heartbreak before. He only has a couple of years left, but we'll keep him happy and loved until he has to leave us - the only way we'll ever let him go again.
