Hope you all have a great Christmas! As some of you may remember, Shini LOVESSSSS a bath. Well she gets her bath after I do when she gets one. Well she is at the point now that she thinks she should have one everytime I do. She had one a couple days ago, so tonight after my bath she is throwing a fit to get in tub, and I tell her, "not this time Shinigirl". So we felt guilty, so we gave her a treat, she takes it, drops it on the kitchen floor & takes her paw & shoves it across room & runs to bathroom whining & whining.  So she has not yet eatin her treat (which she LOVESSSSSSSSSSS treats) & for hours now she has not had ONE thing to do w/us. We tried petting her & she just walks away real slow & real sad. LOL she is hillarious. Mike & I are paying our dues. LOL

Pug Chick, she was ruling the roost as when we got her we let Miss Cutie Pie do whatever she pleased. Well we have recently set rules & boundaries & she balked at firsst, but is just following right into them now, we are so proud of her. We reward her w/treats & she does anything we ask, Homelife is much better now :)

Amen Wee Woman! You really do have to own one to appreciate the breed. And awe, that sounds great! LOL That is gonna be her nickname here from now on, thanks for naming her.

Awe thank you. And Oh my, I thought Shini was the bath queen. Yours is really good! I always make bathtime a fun time for her & she loves it. She loves her tub toys. She doesn't want to get out when it is over. Today we were getting ready to go to town, she ran into the bathroom & tried jumping in the tub & whining all the while. LOL they are just so full of personality, it is amazing. Tin Tin seems like a sweety.

Tin Tin is also among the pugs that love their bath. He just loves it and actually shows me where to scrub, by tilting his head one way or the other or lifting a paw. And he makes that sweet sound that he always makes when he is content or enjoying something. I just love bathing him.

Your story of Miss Shini is very cute and my kissies to her :-)

She is some girl is Miss Shini, they have so much character that you have to have a Pug to understand what they are like. Wish Hektor loved his bath as much, we feel really rotten having to leave him standing drooping in the shower whilst his shampoo does it's work.

Now we can add Shini to the Pixie and Lizzie gang, Queen Pixie, Crown Princess Lizzie and The Grand Duchess Shini. Will that do.

This is hilarious.  Little Miss Shini sure rules the roost around there...lol  Did I warn you about black girls or what?  LOL  It's also ok and good for them to eat a little bit of the coconut oil.  Maybe teaspoon a day or so.  Thats too cute about her giving ya'll the cold shoulder cause you souldn't let her have a bath.  She is a piece of work.  Gotta love her.

Too funny, lol.Well at least you have a happy if wet puggy..:)Remember to enjoy the fun and quirkyness now as when they get old they just want to nap...lol.

Okay, we gave in today, she just got her bath & played w/her tub toys. We used the coconut oil as you suggested Pugnacious, and after her bath, she whined to get back in (as always) & she finally did it! She got in the tub on her own after I got her out & dried her off LOL. So now that the tub is drained she is jumping in & out of tub, back & forth. LOL We finally had to close shower curtains to keep her out. What a widdle mess her is.

Yes, we use coconut oil on ourselves, but never thought about using it on Shini. Thanks for  the tip & Merry Christmas to you & your puggies.

Give her her bath, lol. You can put a teaspoon of coconut oil in it so her skin wont dry out.And use a blowdryer so she will get used to it.Jade loves the water, but not the blow dryer. My 2 older ones hate the water but love the blow dryer..they like to be warm..:)  Merry Christmas!
