Social network for pugs and their people.
hi, I love my millie and about 4 days ago I started feeling like she had a headache or pain in her face, just the way she would move her face towards my hand while I petted her. Being a nationaly certified pfrimmer therapist, I started massaging her face and neck, I was doing this every time I sat with her. well this morning while I was at the computer millie kept putting her paws on me and was pulling on my hand? I went and sat on the couch and she crawled right up on me, I believe she wanted me to massage her, so anyway, you may think im nuts but try this with your pug, massage the large muscles on the side of the neck, then moving to the bottom jaw line and moving gently up the face. then massage the skull and down to the nose. If you think about it, with there structure it makes perfect sense that they can have congestion and stress. did you know humans hold alot of their stress in their face and scalp? I believe this could be true also for our loving pug families too. I love the little light bulbs God allows to go off out of no where to help us and our pets. Lori.
