Hi everyone, hope everything is good on your side of Pugslife.

As some of you know, I have a pug named Bella. She lives up to her name and brings a light to life that makes everyday a little more enjoyable. Bella is a 3 year old chubster of a pug that loves to jump around on everything in her paws reach, say hello to who ever it is crosses her path, and make her pug mama laugh with her little antics.

I do not mean any offense to the family that Bella lived with before, but this once lazy little girl has turned into a real lightening bolt. I'm starting to suspect that she isn't a pug, but more like some kind kangaroo pug hybrid. Nonetheless, she can be a real lap dog and likes to be carried around like a queen where she can gaze out at her kingdom from her lofty throne.  I never knew dogs liked being carried, Bella loves it! Pick her up, put her down, she'll try and crawl back up.

Today we had a trip to the vet. Bella has a UTI and we're determined to make sure she doesn't have to face the pain often associated with the ailment. What ever pain she was experiencing earlier today, she sure wasn't showing it. Now she's sleeping peacefully with a little bit of a snore, away in dreamland.

Thanks guys, from me and Bella :) She has really helped me in so many ways. Bella has taught me that you can't judge a doggie from first impressions and they have unique personalities that are full of surprises.

Meant to add she was really your girl she just needed to get to you, I am glad she has brought such light into the darkness.

Bella is a hoot, don't worry about thinking she is not all what she appears, we always said that ours was a wee white terrier in a Pug suit, who once the light was out unzipped and appeared as he really was. Still not sure if he really is a Pug, more like a rubber ball at the moment as he is feeling so much better.

PUG WITH STRUVITE CRYSTALS!?

Hello all fellow pug lovers! My pug Wrinkles went to the vet 4 weeks ago with blood in the urine and difficulty weeing. I took her straight to the vet (Thank god for pet insurance), my vet said she has a bacteria infection, high ph and crystals. She gave her antibiotics to take home, a pain and inflammation injection, and some inflammation tablets. We came back 2 weeks later, they did some more tests and the bacteria infection had cleared up, the ph levels were normal but she said there still…See More
