Lap Quilt for Arizona Pug Rescue Silent Auction

Well, we finished it! I say we because Sassy Sue & Daisy Doo were with me in the quilt studio for every part of the process. They are the official quilt testers! :0)

This lap quilt is for APARN (Arizona Pug Adoption & Rescue Network) for their silent auction at Pugstock in March. If you look real close you can see the little puggies along with other breeds in the fabric. The backing is puppy supplies on a light blue background. It was a joy to quilt! :0)

I really like the quilt and do hope it brings a windfall to the cause. I have a sewing machine also, yes I do and it's in the kids bedroom, the kids and I took it in the front yard last year and put one of those sting container onto the spide that sticks out the top of it and then took off to see how far away we could get before we ran out of string on it. Never did find out, can't tell when the string is no longer on the string holder thing that goes on that spike thing on top. I also found out it is not a good idea to stick a needle into the really fast up and down thing, that's dangerous!

That is beautiful, and I am sure your babies were a big help.

Beautiful work! And your babies are so endearing... as ALL pugs are.

Because they are the warmest things you can have on your lap.

Pam it is just beautiful, I hope it brings in lots of money, but I would rather have the lifesize girlies any day.
