Oh boy, so the jealousy has been rough lately. Padrona is so jealous of Pandora at times and they started going at it again today. Well in the process Pandora bit Padrona on the wrist to defend herself and now Padrona has a boo boo. Does anyone else go through this with their bitches? I play with them constantly, let them out to run around, play ball, spend time with them separately and together, etc. Any info you could all share that may be helpful is greatly appreciated.

Our two are very jealous of time spent with me, and they so have fights, but no real manger boo boos to speak of.  I think most of our babies get jealous of the time spent with the other, you just need to break it up and let them know you are boss

Lucky for me, Xena and Sadie live with friends!

I heard that filling a soda can with some pennies and taping the top works when used to startle dogs.  Just throw/roll it in their direction and startle them.  May give your poor ears a break :)

Oh goodness yes we have dog fights a lot around here.  All jealousy induced.  All I can tell you is it comes and goes.  The best thing to do is if you see them staring at one another to entervene immiediatly and get their focus off one another.  I have a stick or something close by to grab and divert their attention.  I also have a air horn so if they go at it really bad I blow it and it startles them out of the fight.  Then I have to put them in separate areas for a cooling off time out period.  I've learned not to pick one up in the presence of the others.  That can set them off.  Can't tell you how many times I've been bit trying to separate them.  Thats why I got the air horn.  Tired of getting bit.  It goes in cycles they will all get along just fine for a while and then someone takes issue with another over something.  Even thought they are siblings, they are right?  I heard the dog whisperer compare it to us as humans growing up we didn't always get along with our siblings did we?  Dogs are the same.  I wish you luck.  I say for a while don't show any special affection to either one.  I think they will out grow it in time.  There will probably always be issues now and then but the constant should subside in time.  Don't know if any of my rambling was helpful but I try...lol

Xena and Sadie (corgi girls) are siblings and are about  5 years old, out of the blue they started doing just what Pandora and Padrona are doing.  It got really nasty, where their daddy's hand was bit trying to separate them.  For a while their owners had to split the living room in half with a wire pen!  Those two girls would walk bye one another sneering at each other.  Giving the evil eye at any given chance.

It took alot of walking them way apart and then gradually walking them next to one another- but very slowly.  They did finally get over the craziness and now live together like nothing ever happened?!

I sure hope the same can happen for Pandora and Padrona.  Girls.
