Dear fellow Pug Lovers,

My Pug Maggie has developed an itchy tail. I took her to the vet and they put her on steroids which took care of the problem. However, once the steroids wore off, the itch returned. The skin is a little bit red and there is a strange smallish white lump. But the vet didn't seem concerned. They put her on flea care even though no sign of fleas was found.

**Has anyone had any success with a topical ointment or oil that I might try? The vet didn't seem to like the idea of an ointment but pushed the drugs. I am really frustrated.

Thank you,

Lori

Organic apple cidar vinegar helps for iching, you can spray it on or wipe it on,dilluted 50/50 with water. And i also use organic coconut oil on my girls.

Really depends on what it is, G-Man is finally on the mend after his skin issues. Which was not what they said it was AT all. He seemed to have a "hot spot" which seems to be similar to what Maggie may have. Cortizone can help with the iching (any drug store) and believe it or not, Acne cream, like oxy ten seems to work wonders in drying out the area.
