Its been five months since my Zoe passed away.  Even in her last few years we didn't get to sit together as much, I'm busy and she liked it better on the ground.  The last time I held her in my arms was when she went on to the rainbow bridge.

I'm sitting here getting caught up on some work and Kloe is sitting in my lap.  Earlier I held her in my arms and we just sat there for a bit.  Brought a few tears to my eyes.  Thats why I had to get a pug again.  My other two beautiful dogs just feel too uncomfortable in my arms or lap, I guess they feel they shouldn't be that close to the head of the pack? :)

As i know that feeling too well darla now wants to sit with me like sheba did and yes it brings tears to my eyes but,it does feel good as it keeps that closeness there.I can say that you have to cherish every minute as i do it's all we have is our memories and each time i think of sheba or noah i can say how very lucky i was to have them in my life even though for a short time,it was the best time.Make the most of these moments you are given and you will have a lifetime of memories to look back on.

She is a really beautiful little Pug Konrad and she has fallen on her four paws with you. I am sure your older dogs will eventually put her in her proper place when she gets older but will tolerate her mischief until then. As Laura says, they grow up so quickly that you have to enjoy them as puppies as much as possible.

That is so sweet, it seems a lifetime ago my Rufus was that small. He loved nothing better than sleeping in a slipper and used to love curling up inside my huge dressing gown pocket when he was a pup. Enjoy every minute of her, she is adorable. I bet you don't want to put her down. I never did with Rufus and he still loves to cuddle with me (he is on the bed cuddling his dad as I write this lol). Pugs are the funniest, most loving, adorable little things with huge personalities and we are all so lucky to have them in our lives!

I have found that Kloe is a cuddler in the extreme.  She won't stay in her enclosure by herself so she has slept with everyone in the bed.  All I do is play with her for a bit to get her tired.  Then she cuddles up right next to me and we sleep the night away.  The other dogs aren't too impressed with the puppy playing though, but I'm sure we will work out a truce of some kind eventually.  Jake lets her jump at him a bit, but its really just so he can sniff her privates! :(  Its the cat I've really got to watch out for, or should I say Kloe has to watch out for! :)

I am sure that Zoe has whispered in Kloe ear that she is a very lucky little pug to have a home with her Konrad. ;)

Kloe is a real cutie pie.

Aww how bittersweet Konrad.  Zoe will live on thru Kloe :)

For Kloe the trip was great.  She slept the whole way.  For me, a bit of an adventure, but mostly my fault, more info to come later maybe? :).  I didn't have time inbetween planes to feed Kloe and walk her a bit.  When I got to Vancouver I went and bought a sadnwich and gave her some turkey.  She almost ate my whole hand off as well.  Hungry little girl.  No potty accidents in the carrier.  When she got home she did a bunch of potty! :)
