Social network for pugs and their people.
The "jail break" took place at 2:15 PM and we now have Millie safe and secure. This poor little old lady is only 9 1/2 lbs and is skin and bones. She has a terrible skin condition and her poor little ears are packed with dirt. Her left eye is also a bit bigger than the right, so I fear there might be a problem there. She was found as a stray 3 days ago and taken to a local kill shelter. They said she was so "nasty" and was going to be put to sleep after her three days were up. :0( Thank God an angel named Lolly called me and I called our director, Terri. APARN, Arizona Pug Adoption & Rescue Network, wants to at least give her a fighting chance! So, she's staying with me and the girls for the summer. She's such a little lover, obviously was taken care of at some point before she was homeless. So far she's had a bath, I attempted ear wash solution, fed (she loved the menu), and has a vet appointment in the morning. I'll keep you all updated on her recuperation and hopefully she'll soon find her forever home. www.arizonapugrescue.com
