On November 24, on a warm & sunny fall day, Rainbow Bridge opened its gates to welcome Leah Alisabeth Ashlyn, my precious little angel of 16 years as I held her in my arms.   Leah was very special and so unique and loved by some many people.  Leah melted everyones heart and she always put joy and a sparkle in everyones' eyes wherever she went.  I will always cherish the memories we made and she will remain forever in my heart.

I am truly honored to have known Leah for this time before her final journey to the Rainbow Bridge, for the privilege of voting for her in the costume contest.

Run fast run free Leah

Oh, Carol, your poem brought tears to my eyes.  But we all must remember that the Rainbow Bridge is for romping and playing; all the seniors are like puppies.  I pray that Leah has found my Buffy and Brent's Jeb and they are now enjoying time together.  Perhaps even discussing us!  My heart goes out to you and I hope you find another sweetheart puggy who needs your special love to make her life complete.  <3

Oh Carol, I am so very sorry to hear this news.  As everyone has mentioned, even though we have only known you and Leah for a short period of time, she has touched the lives of so many Pug lovers here on Pugslife and Leah was so easy to fall in love with.  I know you two have wonderful memories together that you will hold very dear to your heart.  I'm happy to know that she lived a long and beautiful life with you.  I know it may be too soon but I always say that there is another Pug out there in need of a home, love or care and by rescuing another, it will be in Leah's honor and as a tribute to her life.  Thinking of you and praying for you during this difficult time Carol.  We love you Leah!!!  You have touched so many lives!!!

Carol, I'm so sorry about Leah's passing.  I knew nothing of it and when I read this post, I was very saddened.  Along with Lexi, I will be praying for Leah and you.  I know that Leah and my Gretta are keeping our masters feet warm now.  Carol, could you please post on PugSpot about Leah's passing.  I'm sure the pug parents on that site would also want to know.  They too are also very loving of pugs and treat them as kids.  They too will also give you support.  I thought about doing it, but now I feel that you personally should do it.  Thank you so much for posting all the pictures of Leah.  I have most of them in Lexi's picture folder as being her friend.  Every time I look at her pictures(Leah's), I start to get wet eyes.  She was such a little sweetheart and will be missed by all of us.  Take care and God Bless!  Doc and Lexi

I'm so sorry. I lost my Roscoe two years ago and still tear up when I think about him. I'm just so grateful pugs can be such a blessing, and I hope your fun, treasured memories of Leah will help you through this time. I know Roscoe will be glad to see her.

You know how I feel Carol, she has only been with us a little time but she will be sorely missed. She will be joining so many at the Bridge, some new members like herself and some who have been there a while. I am sure my lovely "Tim, nice but dim" Henry will welcome her with big licks and crafty Angus will be assisting in that welcome. We know that Di's Lulu and Lily will make her so welcome and Sheba and Noah will be there as well. That is only a small amount of Pugslife Puggies who will be helping out.
