Just got back from our short getaway to Page Springs. First camping trip since Buffy's passing; it was so hard, but I know she had a good life with us. Seemed so funny, not to be pushing the "Buggy Puggy" a
round the RV resort, even Sassy & Daisy seemed a little lost. Buffy was 13 1/4 when she went to the Rainbow Bridge. How blessed we were to briefly have this little old gal in our lives.  Thank you to APARN (Arizona Pug Adoption & Rescue Network) for giving us this darling girl and the best 15 months!  Please consider adopting a senior, they will enrich your life!  :0)

What a great tribute to such a special pug. She looks like she's having a good time in the Buggy Puggy. I just lost a Boston Terrier and it just broke my heart. But they are in Puggy heaven now with there favorite toy just a licking. You will see her again.

You could not have put a better picture on for her. She was such a cutie. Seniors should be adopted and I wish they were more readily available here. She will be waiting with all our other dogs, happy and secure knowing how much she was loved.

Pam what a beautiful tribut and picture of Buffy, doing what she loved best :) I have no doubt in my mind that her life with you was that of unconditional love and so happy that she was able to experience that with you.  Karen, what a beautiful poem and I too have tears running down my cheeks right now.  If I could take in every senior and special needs that would be more than a dream to me and I truly believe that in rescuing one is a tribute and honor to any of those close to us we may have lost.  Pam, thinking of you and may you find peace and comfort in celebrating Buffy's life and holding Sassy & Daisy close.  We are here for you!  xoxo

Well, I'm crying again!  Not from sadness, but from the sweet joy of hearing from all you pug lovers.  I read each and every one of your messages.  Di, Buffy will meet my beloved Lucy, Maggie, Molly, and Suzi!  Hernan, thank you for being so kind, I too believe she passed in peace.  Our little Pug Chick, you posted the sweetest picture, I think I see her face in those clouds!  Julie, you've been through so much with me.  I don't think I could have handled this without you; although we are miles apart, I feel your hugs.  Pugnacious, yes, camping was something Buffy took to right away.  Her first trip was when she was 12, I swear she was like a puppy!  New friend, Konrad, thank you for your kind words.  We knew she wasn't destined to be a foster pug, she was OUR girl.  And Karen, what a beautiful poem.  I must confess it took me several tries to get through it without tears.  It helped me so much.  Thank you all so much, you've been ministering angels to me today.  :0)

So so sorry to hear of Buffy's passing over to the rainbow bridge.  I don't think I can say it any better than the lovely poem Karen posted.  You gave Buffy the best 15 months any pug could have.  Bless you and my heart goes out to you.

A Letter from Heaven
To my foster family, some things I'd like to say, But first of all to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this letter from the Bridge - Where I now dwell with God above- Where there are no tears or sadness, only eternal love.
Please don't be sad because I am out of sight, Remember that I am with you, every morning, noon and night.
The other day I had to leave you, when my life on earth was through - God picked me up and hugged me, and he said, "I welcome you...
Its good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone... As for your foster family, they'll be here later on".
When you think of my life on earth, and the neglect in my early years, Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain, Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
God gave me a list of important things, that he would like for me to do, And foremost on his special list, was to watch over and care for you.
And when you lie down and try to sleep, with the day's chores put to flight, Remember that God is closest to you, in the middle of the night.
I wish that I could tell you, everything that God has planned, But even if I could tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my earthly life is over, I'm more happy, healthy and content, than I ever was before.
If you can help another, who is in sorrow or in pain, Then you can say to God at night; "My day was not in vain".
And when you're walking down the street, with me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps, only a short trot behind.
There are rocky roads ahead of you, and many hills to climb, But a rescuer's heart is big and strong, just take it one day at a time.
For it is simply God's nature, and I'd like it for you too, That as you give to the world, the world will give to you.
And when your time on earth is up, to leave your body and be free, Remember you are not "going", You are coming up here to me.
