This is my fIrst blog post so I guess I will start with a little bio.

Bella is a black female pug with a grey/white beard (she has had since she was 2.5) and is 5 years old. Her favorite toys are mostly used as pillows and her favorite sleeping spots are on the arm rest of the couch or where ever her purple blanket is. She listens when called unless she sees a baby stroller and then she forgets all her training. She's never met a person or dog she dosn't like but kids and babies are her favorite :]]She loves to go on hikes while never giving up trying to keep up with the big dogs (her sister jezzabell). And traveling across country on a whim.

Pugs are known for being loud breathers and Bella is no exception. earning the nickname tasmanian devil when playing out in the yard. More nicknames include : Bella Button, Bell-Bell , Mogwai (from gremlins), & Rotten ;]

Mixed with coconut oil & raw eggs is the only way she will eat her veggies, unless it is on a taco bell taco sitting on the table or course. She has is very constant with the way she eat her chicken legs, first taking the skin on both of them the goes back and eats the meat on both and then the bone (its quite fascinating).

As I try to explain to my bf she's not a dog she's a Alien Piggy Princess & My Forever Baby <3

Well I has some ideas about Pugs before the second "H" in my life. They were all staid gentlemen who I could picture wearing very English Bowler hats, but then my Hektor arrived. My two previous Pugs were quiet and calm and did very little wrong after they reached the age of two. Both apart from the fights they had, being they were both male and the oldest one would not put the youngster in his place they just quietened down. Now Hektor gets toys, he doesn't from us, we realised once he reached that age, he just wasn't interested. So it is nice to see a five year old still with her toys even though she uses them as a pillow. By the way my old guy was like the darling Bella, he went grey at age two and was white age 14. Hektor is seven on the 13th this month and is only slightly grey so it seems to be the individual dog.

Lol yes they do! I loved the cookie part :] Sometimes when we are out in the yard she barks at people and then if they get close enough she starts whining and wiggling looking extra cute for pets lol

I first started feeding her raw on a raw diet after I talked to a few people (including my bfs mom who breeds & raises top line border collies) & did ALOT of research. Chicken bones only splinter when they are cooked. She dosnt get pork or beef bones because they are to hard for her little teeth. And only leg and breast bones of the chicken. She has chocked a couple times at first but shes pretty good at chewing her food :P

Loved learning about Bella, and she looks very happy with her toys.  She sounds like quite the little social butterfly!  Wish we would run into you on one of our walks!  :0)  You have it right, pugs are NOT dogs!

Aren't you afraid she will choke on the chicken bone?  My vet says she sees so many problems with chicken bones as they are fragile, splinter and get imbedded in the esophagus, stomach, and bowel.  Check with you vet about bones.  Bella sounds like quite the character, and somehow it goes with those wee blacks, they are true divas.  My mum's black is Polly Anna, and she is a character.  Here's a video I took a few Christmases ago, you can see Polly has the model attitude, yup she's a diva!   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Hjj6U6Ai1A&list=UU9xjZxYTw-P23...
