Giving everyone an update on the fur kids...I will start with Lo...she is doing great! 10 years strong and being a wonderful, hilarious Puggy! She is so funny and I love her more daily.  She still has the bump on her side that tends to drain every so often and puff out.  It never gets bigger than the size of a large pea and it doesn't seem to bug her so I just check it regularly. She has a cold I think at the moment as she has sneezed a bit more than usual and has honked a bit, nothing to major and she is tough.  So grateful that I have her!

Jo...he is a funny one also...he loves his beds and he is mellow. A little lover at times, but very stubborn and a wimp at times lol...when we had a cold spell here he did not want to go out and would lift his paw when I opened the door and he felt the air.  He loves Lo with all his heart and she won't give him the time of day. It is so cute to watch them and I want another Pug now.  I have Jo at work with me at the moment and he is snoring very loudly in the background and I am trying to keep my eyes open as the snoring lulls me and I feel sleepy.  That is my story for the day and I will sign off for now. Take care and talk to you soon!

I love your positive attitude and outlook Lizzy!  I'm so glad to hear that Lo is still being Lo!  She is such a sweetheart and you can tell she has such a personality!  If you get a chance, we'd love to see more pictures of her!  Did she ever get that deck she wanted?  ha ha ha!

it stops the bleeding. She is tough and if it grows we will have surgery. They say that I can have it graded to tell how far the cancer is. However she will have a good life and I won't do that test, as then I will worry to much and project it to her. Better to not know. She is 10, happy, bossy and forever hungary...thats all I need to know. If that changes then I will do what I can for her. I wish I was fully fluant in Pug lol...she could tell me what hurts. (I only know it as a second language.

Lo is such a trooper!  What does the cauterizing do?  Is it a way of getting some of the tumor out?  If it doesn't get larger, is it something you don't have to worry about removing?  I hope it doesn't get larger and will pray for good health!  She is such a sweetie!

this is a pic of her mast cell tumor. The Vet cauterized it and we may have to do surgery if it gets larger. :( She is in goid spirits and doesn't notice, this is a blessing. I am grateful for all your support and prayers. She is a wonderful Pug and has a personality like no other dog I have ever met. We have a great gift in these furry companions! Cheers and Pug hugs.

Thanks for that update in the comments, prayers are lifted for little Lo.  Now, as for Jo, I'm with him!  I remember those cold Calgary winters when I lived there.  Brrrr!  :0)

Thank you, I am taking her to the vet tomorrow to see what we can do.  during the summer we determined that it is a Mast cell tumor.  But we did not do surgery as Lo has a narrow trachea and I don't like the odds of her coming out and not being a different dog (not so happy go lucky, show her age) we left it until now.  I am going to ask the vet if he can take it off without surgery (not expecting to get all the tissue etc) just so that it doesn't ooze the blood and clear fluid and heals a bit.  I am lost though and feel helpless. She is my baby and I want to do what is best for her. Just want to find out my options.  We were planning on booking our vacation for a week in Mexico tomorrow and are now debating if we should wait and take a shorter one...we will see what the vet says. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.  Hugs
