As the holidays approach just thought i'd share an easy treat that takes no time and you can add things like grated carrot, green beans-if their canned just drain then you can cut them up or mash them a bit.As it's a busy time for me so doing things that i can quickly put together helps as i am a baker and confections maker so this is my time of year and if you'd like check me out on pinterest for lots of recipes and yes there are more for fido. Basic Treat Recipe"
2 1/2 c.Wheat Flour
1 Tsp.Beef or Chicken Bouillon-Low Sodium
1/2 C.Hot water
Dissolve bouillon in hot water, when dissolved add other ingredients and mix.Take out of bowl knead a bit then roll out cut with whatever cookie cutter you have or you can use christmas ones.Place on greased cookie sheet bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
Gingerbread Dog Treats"
3 c. flour
1 tblsp. oil
1/3 C. Molasses
You just mix the ingredients well then roll out and cut, that simple.Bake at 350 for 20 min.
As far as the basic treat you can add almost anything depending on what your pet likes as i will also add a bit of finely chopped spinach just a little as Bear does like spinach and there are recipes that call for white flour so if you don't use wheat there are plenty of other recipes that call for your all-purpose flour.
