Kloe will be starting intermediate obedience school this thursday. Its going to be a tougher one. I think she might be a bit young, but we are going to give it a try. One of the things she has to learn is healing without a leash. WOW! I don't see how that's going to happen, but she has been able to do everything the instructor has asked so far so I'm confident she will be able to master it!?
Kloe has recently found the spot that my Zoe and my friend's pug Lucky used to love sitting in. She is sitting in my big chair at the back next to my bum. :) So I only end up with half the seat. And when Jake is in there as well I get only the edge of the seat. :(
My sister found an adorable pink jacket that looks like it will fit Kloe perfectly. It just needs some sewing on the velcro part. She got it for $.75 which is a great deal. Pictures will be coming once its fixed.
Last week Kloe had to get a new collar. If we waited any longer we would have had to cut the collar off her. :) So I got her a nice new pink collar. Pics also to come soon. She looks very beautiful in it!
Today Kloe started barking like crazy while we were driving. She usually does this when another dog is somewhere on the sidewalk. But all I could see was a mom and dad with their small child. So it looks like Kloe thinks small children are big bad dogs from afar as well. Then she saw a big white dog and totally flipped out. She gets a long strip of hair running down her back when this happens. Her bark is rather pitiful still as well.

Comment by Konrad Jaschke on January 31, 2013 at 9:52pm Just tried on her new pink jacket, looks great. I'm too lazy to get the pics off the camera today, but I'll post soon. I'll also post pics of her new pink collar. She looks great in it as well.
Comment by Konrad Jaschke on January 31, 2013 at 9:50pm Ooops, posted this in the wrong blog so here it is again.
Well Kloe just had her first class of Intermediate obedience school. She did fine. It was just a review of Basic obedience class. They will be adding in distractions now on the stays. The instructor walked around the dogs while they were on stay. Then she brought along a stuffed toy, Lambie. Oh boy the stays didn't last too long. For the rest of the class Kloe could only stare in the direction of where Lambie was put last. :) And its only going to get harder. She might have problems because I think she is a little young still. About halfway through class she starts to get all playfull and want to play instead of do as she is told. But we will probably take the class again when she is older before going on to advanced. so its OK. She has lots of home work that needs to get done now, I gotta find the time to get her some practice before next Thursday.
Comment by The Wee Woman on January 29, 2013 at 7:07am I love to see little girl Puggies in Pink it just suits them so well. I think she is probably the right age for obedience unlike Hektor who was going on three when he went. I think she and you will do brilliantly.

Comment by Di's spoiled kids on January 28, 2013 at 3:49pm kloe is growing up. boy time sure does fly by. cannot wait to see her all in pink.
Good luck with the obedience training. I still so need to take Ginger. Just laziness on my part. :( She has been somewhat better after her time out the other day in the crate for her badness. Now if she starts getting agressive I say..Wanna go to the crate?..and she usually chills out. I also have an air horn that I will blow if the all get to barking at whatever. They HATE it! So all I have to say is...I'm gonna get the horn!... They know what the horn means and they chill.
I look forward to pics of Kloe in her new collar and coat. We have had such a mild winter so far I have only put their coats on maybe once. It has to be really cold for me to go to the trouble as getting coats on 6 dogs is a major task...lol
