At the moment she is a little worried being in your arms while you are walking  Everytime I pick her up she whines a bit a breathes a little strange.  I think she just isn't used to being up high and she is a bit scarred.

My biggest problem is her not wanting to be in her wire enclosure.  The second I put her down she starts to whine.  Then she starts to try and escape by jumping.  Then she starts climbing it.  This morning I put her in it and went downstairs to make some breakfast and let the other dogs out.  I could hear her whining.  When I got back upstairs she was waiting for me on my bed. :)  I'll have to find a better way to do this since its possible she could break something or cut her belly on the wire by doing this climbing.  At Fran's they lived in an enclosure and had a wire crate to go into as well, but she had all her little buddies to keep her company so I guess it wasn't a problem.

She also seems to get the hiccups at least once a day. :)  At least its not coming out the other way as gas!

We did a bunch of driving on Friday and she is getting used to that.  She started snuggling up to me, I thought she just wanted to be close, but what she wants is to sit behind my back while driving. :)  That ain't going to work little lady!

Its very obvious when she needs to go potty.  She starts to get all frantic.  She will pee on the pad in the enclosure and has even figured out there is a pad in the backroom downstairs, but pooping is a problem.  The way Fran had it setup the puppies could go outside whenever they had to go poop, but also had a pad in the enclosure.  For some reason Kloe won't poop in her enclosure.  But when she is free she frantically tries to find a place under something in a corner of the room to go poop. :)

One thing good and bad is that when she needs to go she pretty well just goes potty within seconds.  This is bad if you are trying to catch her before she goes so you can get her outside.  But when my little Zoe had to go she had to twirl and twirl like a mad whirling dervish before she could do anything.  If anything interrupted her twirling she would have to do it all over again.  It made for some long waits for her to go! :)

I'm off to Petsmart latter today with Kloe to do a big buying spree for her.

Well Konrad sounds like you have not had a puppy in a while  HEHE.  As for puppy pads, I never had any luck with them myself.  It will all fall into place once she gets on a schedule with you.

Konrad, I had a Puppy Pal for Hektor, or as they called it a Snuggle Pup here, it came with a heat pad and a beating heart. The heart freaked him out but he liked the heat pad and he slept on it for a good while. I do not know if you can buy something similar there but might e the answer to the missing sibling. Have to say, Hektor was 8 week going on 9 weeks when he came home with us, but he never missed his brothers and sister for a moment. In fact we put him down on the floor, he ran to his bed and settled down right away. We had a nylon box for him and were intending to upgrade him to a crate but after a while he just stayed on the sofa when we were out and only recently we got rid of his box. He was an escape artist though, used to push his face against the zip and get out until we put a little lock on it. It will take time but one thing you must do is give her and you some me time, only then will you ensure no separation anxiety.

Yes, we do what Pug Chick does. When we got Shini her puppy apartment has the padding area for sleeping & the other half is for the puppy pads & we leave it open all day & she goes in & out to sleep etc. The only time she is locked in it is if we leave or company comes over & she is being a pest to them lol. Shini also does NOT like being out of Mike or I's sight, but especially mine. If she is not in bathroom while I am showering then she is trying to look under the door the whole time doing the baby cry thang. LOL But when it is time for her walk with daddy to the post office in the a.m., she does NOT even know I exist!! LOL I will say to her; "Shini, you go to the post office wiff daddy & bring mommy the mail, okay?" & the whole time I am saying that she sits real content & with her head tilted she listens to EVERY word of that till I finish & then she goes into hyper mode & run for the top of the end of the couch & stand in that very spot EVERY time for us to put on her harness & leash and if anyone is sitting in her spot at end of couch, she moves them out. She thinks she cannot get her harness put on anywhere biut at the end of couch, lol she is a trip I tell ya's. If Mike & I are even talking about the post office late at night or any other time, she will run into living room & jump up on end of couch waiting to be leashed. I was just thinking earlier, how much I love this little mess we call Shini, she is the apple of my eye and has brought much life back into me from the accident 2 years ago. She is truly a joy 99.9% of  the time. Even when she is being bad, she makes us laugh. Tomorrow we have been invited out to a cook out at my sisters house & of course Shini will go & get to play with Toko, so we will have pics of them both. Hang in there Konrad, it takes them a bit to learn the routine of their new place, but once they get that down pat, all will be well.

Oh what delightful Kloe stories.  Yes I was thinking her problem was probably being separated from you.  Ginger still goes beserk when ever I leave.  If I go to the mailbox I can hear here in the house whining up a storm.  In fact I have a video that is up loading right now of her in the crate back talking me.  The way to get them used to the crate is to make it a happy fun place.  Pug toys and a nice bed in it and leave the door open so she can go in and out at will at first.  Offer treats to get her to go in.  Then when she is used to going in and out close the door for very brief periods like a minute and then expand the time.  She will gradually get used to it.  My Puga likes hers so well she goes in it even when we are at home.  Plus now Ginger will go sit in the Bostons crate when I'm gone and wait there till I get back. She pouts when I leave...lol  Oh my husband washes the dogs in the shower.  So when she needs a bath just bring her in with you...lol  Mine also to the bed digging.  Pugs are just so funny.  Keep the stories coming.

Kloe just found a spot on the bed that needs digging? :)

Well it looks like the problem isn't the enclosure or not having puppies with her.  The problem is me.  She doesn't want to be blocked off from getting at me! :)  I had a shower and she was in the room and she went nuts.  Its sounded like I was killing her.  She did not like the shower door being closed and me on the other side.  This could be a problem with going to work.  When I had Zoe 13 years ago I had my mom to help look after her, but sadly I also lost my mom a few years ago.

I'm thinking she might be an agility pug in the making.  She climbs the wire enclosure easily. :)  We will see how puppy training goes.  If I have the patience then she gets advanced training and if that works then on to agility training.
