Kara (non pug, ChiX) has not been eating much for a month and we haven't found out whats wrong with her yet. At first we thought she was just getting picky, but blood work shows liver enzymes and proteins aren't right. Did check for tick illnesses and its not that. Just did an ultrasound and will know result later today.
My question is for anyone that has gone through liver problems with dogs. I've read that Milk Thistle and Nettle are great for the liver. Any suggestions…Continue

I've been pondering where I can post this or not, its kind of K9 soft porn. :) Not really, but it is very suggestive. The look on Maxx's face is just priceless, you gotta zoom in on him. Well here it is. I didn't pose this or any kind of setup. I was working on the computer on Saturday and looked over to the bed and saw this, too bad I only had my phone nearby, reminds me of the pic I got of my first pug in the morning when she was at the stage where she needed diapers. I get up and…Continue
Well hello, I have not been on this site for a couple of years, even though I do keep in touch with a couple of you on Facebook. I have thought of all of you often and know that there is probably a lot for me to catch up on! What has been going on in my world? Well I had a beautiful baby girl (she is now a lovely terror 3 year old). We had to put Lo down at the end of Dec 2015. I sent a text to my husband and said OMG we almost forgot today is Linus's birthday, of course he said no it is Lizzy's, but hers is the 24th, so I said no it is the boys. Anyway, I had no gift for him, which I always usually do, so he and his sister shared some nice steak meat. When I go…Continue

Don't know if anyone is following this crazy fire we have going in one of our provinces, but here is a good story of a Pug getting rescued. Can't imagine how the family could leave the dog behind really, but I guess there are circumstances it could happen so can't really judge people. But this guy who stayed got to rescue the pug and have him as a companion for awhile until the animal rescue people reunited him with his family. Finally some good stories!…Continue
