OK so tonight after 7:00 we can have nothing to eat, and no water after midnight. This should be fun considering we always get a small bedtime snack, and we must have our breakfast before we do our morning business. And this is not just her, this is everybody, so I will have to sneak the other two their breakfast in the morning. Gee I am wondering if when they do the surgery they can take some of the devil out of her, she is really driving Linus nuts. Example: today he wanted to go out, and he… Continue

My sister stayed home today from work because my mum has got worse, she found her in the garden this morning crying and feeding the birds, she was crying because the birds were gone.
Later on i asked her if she was ok and she started crying and rubbing the back of her hand and she said i was telling her off. She wanted me to make her some breakfast so i did and she tried feeding peawee bits off of her plate i said no we're not allowed to do that and she quickly took her hands away and… Continue

I took Tin Tin to the vet today to show her a lesion on his skin, which is most likely a fungal infection. She has put him right away on a course of anti-biotics and Tin Tin is happy. He loves medicines as they are given in the form of syrups and i have made him believe these are treats for special occasions. I'd never thought I could fool a pug like that :-)
The sad thing is that at the vet I heard that a few days back, they found an abandoned kitten in a dustbin outside the… Continue

I won’t take time and space apologizing for the dearth of blog entries…suffice it to say Grandma has been occupied with other endeavors. But as this season of thanks and giving approaches, I did
convince her that my loyal readers need to hear from me.
Tomorrow we travel to East 13th Street for our day of celebration, to the home of my male human alter ego, the man I referred to many blogs ago as “an oak of a man” (May 5, 2009), his wife, and Continue
bulldog Otis. The plan…

Reading Sophie's post got me thinking of my parents who stay over 500 miles away from me and fall prey to some ailment or accident all the time. My father is a diabetic and mother, an asthmatic. Also, my father had a series of surgeries last year for a broken hip bone, and that has left him with a minor limp.
I guess old age brings with it all kinds of health problems, but what pains me is that I stay so far away from them that a visit,… Continue

Definitely not something you want to hear when sombody is banging on your door. I was playing with Milo and the Peaman at the time, obviously i abandoned them and ran to where she was to find her lying on a stretcher shaking with loads of people and paramedics. Not nice. I went in the ambulance with her anyway. Just got back from Hospital now. Atleast she's still here. I don't think Peaman would want to lose his 'mummy'. I don't either.

Today Tin Tin turns one. And he is the naughtiest one-year old dog in the world, although I must admit, a damn cute one. So much so that all his mischief is forgiven.
Plastic mugs and containers, inhalers, remote controls, cell phones, hand towels, undergarments... you name it, I guess he' be happy chewing just about anything... Luckily, his mischief is generally not destructive and he gives in fast if cornered; so I guess, he's okay.
At one and a weight of… Continue

We have a new member, Her name is Shelley and her Pug is Puggie, now Puggie had a very poor start in life someone who knew nothing of the breed, tied him up to a tree for three years and left him outside. Fortunately for Puggie they obviously thought he was not much good as a guard dog and they advertised him in the local paper for $50. Now if he had turned up at that price in the United Kingdom, he would have been bowled over in the rush. As I said fortunately for him the advert was spotted by… Continue
