Social network for pugs and their people.
If anyone wants to try it just download this attached file and run it. It will slowly start downloading all the new pictures from Pugslife and display them on your monitor desktop. If you have Windows 8 and two monitors it even puts a different picture on each monitor. Its like having your own slide show of pugslife on your desktop. It will ask you if you want to download the pcitures or not. You need to click on Download attachments. Thats it!…Continue
Just got back from our short getaway to Page Springs. First camping trip since Buffy's passing; it was so hard, but I know she had a good life with us. Seemed so funny, not to be pushing the "Buggy Puggy" around the RV resort, even Sassy & Daisy…
Please keep Dali in your prayers as she is in surgery now to remove the tumor. The vet called and right before the surgery they found another tumor on her belly so that one will come off as well. Thank goodness they found it so both will be sent out for biopsy. I do get to bring her home tonight at least.
So I got the news today that I am no longer allowed to keep Grant :( I have been crying all day! I am really heartbroken! He is such a wnderful puppy but is in the wire chewing stage and has destroyed $300 worth of wires. I thought I had the house puppy proofed but he proved me wrong last night :( So my bf said I couldnt keep him anymore :( If anyone in the east Kentucky area is looking for a beautiful brindle pug, I have one for $200 :( :( :( :(
Hi all I figured I would pop on while I could to fill you in on our big storm. Right now it is only rain, but the wind is picking up, and the New Jersey shore is getting hammered. If anyone wants to get and idea of this storm, just go on the web and type in Sandy and the New Jersey shore. Cape May, Wildwood, Long Beach Island, and Atlantic City really are hit, and Long Beach Island is a narrow strip, where the bay and ocean have now met, this only happened once before. For us here, it…Continue
Kloe is getting Spayed today. A whole day away from her. I haven't been without her at my side since I got her. :)
Wish her luck and a quick recovery!
Well another Pugfest has come and gone. I have now been to three over the years and have learned a few things. # 1 take no more than 2 pugs. Even if you have one pug per person ONLY take 2. # 2 DO NOT TAKE GINGER!!! This one I obviously learned this year. I took her instead of Pixie as she is a better car rider. What I did not know was how she would act once we got there. Lets just say I…Continue
I was hoping someone could shed some light on a situation. We can't seem to get our 3 1/2 month old Pugly to stop biting us! We've tried a few things that have been recommended either online or by a Petsmart trainer...yelling "ow!" really loud to startle him, taking away his toys, ignoring him, pressing our hands into his gums and pinning him down until he lays still.
Nothing seems to work.
Any thoughts? Any tricks that have worked for…Continue

One of our members, who also advertises here, recently did a pitch for her business on Dragon's Den Canada. If you want to watch it here it is.....
But there wasn't any pugs. :(
I also hate the investors. Three of them were the typical lets help humans before we help animals argument. Can't we do both. One of them said we should basically put the…Continue
Hey guys! It's been a while, been SO busy of late.
Happy to say i'm now engaged so thats partly the reason why :)
I have a lot of questions and in need of some serious help with my youngest Corey who is now just over 8months old and growing into a chubby handsome boy.
I think tho that he has ADHD! haha, no matter how much you play and run and chase, he just doesn't wear out and he is STILL biting. He has tones of bones and chew toys but gets over excited…Continue
Well, I packed up the dogs and went to the island for the weekend. I really wanted to get Kloe over to our place on the Island before she wasn't a puppy anymore, but work has been so busy I couldn't until now. I've got lots of pics of Zoe on the Island as a puppy so I wanted some of Kloe.
Trip started off bad, missed the 7:00pm ferry, the 9:00pm arrived 30mins late and then a further 30mins late on the other side so we missed the 11:30pm ferry to Gabriola, last ferry for the day so…Continue
Just one year ago today, I send my beloved to the rainbow bridge. Lily you are so very missed, I cannot believe you have been gone from us for a year already, not one day has gone by that you are not thought of.
A story I am not sure I shared with you all, but when we went to look at the puppies, (Lily, Lulu, and sibs) they were three weeks old, their eyes were not even open yet. We had just lost our Peke-A-Poo, Muffin, who I always said was my first child. Anyway when we…Continue
So yesterday we decided to start training. I must say that Grant is doing great (video coming)! Sit is now a great word!!! If we could get stay, lay, and shake down, we would be doing even better. Does anyone have any suggestions on training? Grant is 11 weeks, is that to early to expect much? Like I said, he is doing almost perfect on sit. Should I wait a week or so on each new command? Anyway, please let me know what yall think or have experience with. Thanks!

last night around 8 o clock Pepper was running around the backyard like she always does and got stung by a bee on her face/lip. My son noticed Pepper shaking her head and rubbing her face, when he looked closely he noticed that the stinger was still in her face. My daughter was able to get the stinger out put Pepper on the ground and thought "all better" well not exactly. She collapsed to the ground and started defecating on the floor and had labored breathing. We rushed her to a Vet…Continue
After a wonderful meet up with Jackie, Terri and Di, I came home and found out Dali has a black growth growing on her tummy. I took her to the vet right away on Monday, and of course it has to be removed. They did some presurgery bloodwork that day. I posted a photo here in case anyone knows what this is. I am concerned it is cancer but it is only on the skin so removal should produce good results. It looks like a little black sponge…Continue
