Well we all know how expensive our little babies can be when they are under the weather. Linus and Lizzy went to th vet today and I am $300 and some odd dollars poorer then when I left. LOL Poor Linus he is congested and now on an antibiotic, he was suppose to get his rabies shot today, but of course that did not happen. Lizzy got her distemper shot, and both got their anal glands emptied, and you can just imagine the looks on their faces while that was being done LOL. We are hoping…Continue
Hi everyone- I have an almost 14 year old pug that is having a lot of trouble breathing- by that I mean nasal area seems stuffed up/clogged, lungs are fine. We have tried antihistamines, nasal sprays, drops, and prenisone- he isn't improving- Does anyone have anything that has worked for their pug? I have 2 vet appts this week, but we seem to be running out of options....
A nice story about a woman trying to help senior dogs get adopted.
We need a pug version of this.
Just posted a bunch of great pics from our yearly block party. Not a lot of actions shots, but lots of nice posing!
I finally got off my butt and copied 14GBs of pictures off my camera memory card. Some really nice pics from May. Please go and have a look. Great action shots of Kloe running around, etc. Even a not too bad shot of a very colourful hummingbird.Continue
Hi all you pug loving peeps. We just found out that we is going to be going on a big car trip again. We are told we will be staying in a big old house which has something called a doggy door. Not sure what that is but mom thinks we will maybe like it. Mom says we can walk right through it. Big brother Carl is going with us, and we will be able to go into all the forts and things there with mom and dad. Sounds like we are going to be able to do a lot of things with mom and dad. And…Continue
As members of Pugslife, we know what joy our pets bring us. The pure and unconditional love they offer is unmatched, and someone who has never had a pet will, sadly, never know what he is missing.
My father is a huge animal lover, and his colleagues in the Indian Army, where he served quite many years, would often regale me with stories of dad’s love for animals - and not just the domestic variety. One story I was often told as a kid was that when dad was a bachelor, he had once…Continue
Anyone else have this problem. Kloe's fur has little drips of stuff on her after our BBQ outside. She stands under everyone's plate and waits for food to drop. The problem is she gets all the BBQ sauce drips on her! :) She does this anywhere people are eating or preparing food. In the kitchen while I'm prepping food, etc. I think its time for a bath Kloe!!! I'll see if I can get a picture of her having the bath, she ain't going to be happy!
This is a good little slide show, 23 slides.

As you know, my Buddy went to the rainbow bridge a couple of weeks ago. In the interim I was emailed about a senior dog with cancer. At first I ignored the e-mail. Then I found myself going back to it and asking questions in "replies". This dog was a dumpster dog. (still not sure what that means...do you)? After making a million excuses why I cdnt take him on....I took him on,. He came this past…Continue
