Lil Lizzy Bit is here, and she is so sweet. She came from an Amish Farm, and had to get a bath when she got home because she smelled like she lived on the farm. Lily was in love at first site, and Lizzy gave her kisses and checked underneath to see if it was mommy. Linus was happy too, but a bit ruff with her. I took a couple pictures I need to see how they came out, it was hard to get any since she was all over me, and Lily and Linus were right there too, so pictures should be up by tomorrow

I am a little worried about Guinness' size at his age. He is about a week and a half shy of 5 months, He seems to be rather small compared to other pugs. Some that are 16 pounds look to be double his size. I think he has a good weight, about 11.5 lbs. But he is not tall or long. Seems like he has a long way to grow. I am new to pugs and only had big/monster dogs before GSP/Mastiff/GSD, so I am worried why hes not growing larger.
Any thoughts? Or am I… Continue

hello puglovers! My pug, Samantha, had already gave birth of her 5 puppies, 2 girls and 3 boys, can you help me or suggest a name for them. They said it should be same initials, I already had MORGANA, MUCHO and MAX, Can you help me think names for the two? I'll be very thankful for your help!

I just noticed that Henry is developing a balding spot on his wrinkle. When I lifted up the wrinkle, it was balding inside too. I am so worried and hoping it's not mange. I have an appointment with the vet in a couple of hours. Anyone else have experiences like this?

That holiday was cool. The first day/night Milo and peawee couldnt settle at all and were quite irritable. They soon settled and played with some other dogs in the off-lead area. Thats when i discovered milo will successfully do a recall when greeting another dog.
Peawee got attacked by a 5 month old Westie. I mean, 5 months?! And aggressive?! Anyway peawee went to greet the westie on the campsite and all seem fined but then the westie growled and jumped on his and tried to get his… Continue

I 'm so excited and a little apprehensive I must say about our first foster pug. Her name is Sadie and she is 7 years old. She will be coming to live with us until her new forever home is found. Her previous owner had her since she was a puppy along with 9 other dogs. The story is that this lady went thru a divorce and was moving from Georgia back up north somewhere and she put all her dogs on Craigs list to give away. Unbelievable! Long story short I found out about the pug Sadie and got her… Continue

We got Lola when she was 8 weeks old. She had a few "moles" around her face that came and went. She is now about 9 months old, and has MANY of these moles/warts/bumps. they are around her mouth, chin and cheeks. In the last week she has developed a few on on of her hind legs. They do not seem to bother her but I am a little concerned about why she is getting them and what to do to get rid of them. Sometimes they flake and bleed. We have stopped giving her people food and changed her food. We… Continue

Every pug owner thinks their pug is "special" but what happens when the idiosyncratic behavior ventures into territory of the strangely bizarre? Could Dublin, my pug, be special needs? Sometimes I think it would help to be inside her head so I could fully understand the purpose behind her odd behaviors - such as the incessant wall/couch licking and fear of eating out of anything.
Dublin was the last… Continue

For everyone who just loved that picture of the pug in the rainbow paw carrying pouch that was put up a while ago....after some searching I've found the site that sells them!!! It's www.doodlebugduds.com and they have so many cute fabrics for these pouches. It's called the doodlebuggy and they have an "over 20 lbs" size for all our pudgy puggies. I will be getting one for Daisy since on some of our longer walks she needs me to carry… Continue

I thought, what better time to start a blog about my pug than the 1st anniversary of her birth! Now all the new puppy bliss has worn off, the cute little mishaps aren't so cute, and I am just living life with my teenage pug child. She has since grown to be 16 pounds with a balding underbelly and a few more moles than I remember.
Seeing as this is my… Continue

Okay I am being bullied and I want to complain. It doesn't just concern me it is my Husband as well. You see being people who have a Pug we tend to have a routine and it sort of goes like this. Morning - Breakfast - Shower - dressed -take Pug for a walk. Lunchtime - food for everyone - sleep for Pug. Evening - Walk the Pug - Dinner - Pug has chew bone - sleeps until 9 ish then out for last pee. This is when the bullying starts. Pug comes in, has treat, it is expected. He then starts staring at… Continue
