Linus started out his Saturday morning by getting into trouble right off the bat, and he just kept it up all day. First this is not a good thing, Lily had an accident in the house, and Linus, well Linus had his share of it, even though I kept yelling at him to get away. I wasn't guick enough, and well you know what happened. Such a bad boy, and I most definitely do not like that. Next well, next Henry and I are painting the living room, and who should want to help, we you know who. He has paint… Continue

Hello Pugs and People! Even though I do not own a Pug, I am owned by 3 other dogs! I attended the Pug Crawl on Sunday and had an absolute blast photographing the dogs! I just wanted to let people know where they would be able to look at the images that I captured. I have posted some on my blog and have included a short slideshow that I made there. I have also posted over 80 images in my gallery. I just thought that some of you might want to take a look.…

That's Milo's new nickname. Always have to say to him "Come on slowcoach" on walks. Don't understand why... He'll walk beside me then maybe slow down and stop and it gets quite boring, is he bored of the same old route or what? It wasn't hot today, quite cool but nah, he had to be slow as usual... And instead of greeting someone he knew he backed away and tried to get away from them and grumbled at them. Ahh! Whats up with that?

My darling Tin Tin has what looks like boils, spread over his body, including one or two near his face.
I took him to my vet as soon as I noticed the first lot and he has been on medication - a set of anti biotics and ointments - for over ten days now. But he does not seem to have shown much improvement. Any idea guys, what this could be? Could this be the heat (Indian summers are horrible!!!) or is it something else?
Also, on his right elbow, the vet says, he… Continue

I'm writing this somewhat sooner than I expected, but sometimes tings happen in spite of planning. Last month, we adopted another rescue pug. He's six years old and named Anthony. Yes, Anthony.
Thanks to the great people at Curly Tail Pug Rescue, we found out about the little guy and fell in love with him. So, off we went to Massachusetts to pick him up. A four hour drive took seven because of a huge delay on I-91. An hour to finalize the process, then another five back since we had… Continue

So Alexander's still play-biting a bit when he can't help himself, but at least he responds well to a stern "no." I haven't had scratches on my hands for weeks now. It's so funny trying to come up with methods to stop his play-biting. One time, I was giving him a rub on the couch and he started nipping at my hand. I took his tail and whenever he nipped, I moved his tail closer to his mouth so he won't grab my hand. I thought it would be funny if he realized he was biting his own tail. But then,… Continue

Ah, Peawee is taller than Milo, yet 3 months younger. I Think Milo will stay quite small..but peawee..Wow. hes kinda big compared to Milo.
Friends' Sisters' boyf called Milo and peawee ugly rats :o How rude, they look nothing like a rat.
Anyone else had their Pug mistaken for being fat by people who have never seen a Pug before?
It's rather annoying, Pugs are meant to be stocky and you can sort of feel Milos ribs when hes lying on his side and his belly goes up… Continue

I took Alexander out for a walk, but he just wouldn't do his business. It was getting too cold (weird this time of year) so I took him back inside. I did some paperwork and he pooped on the floor when I wasn't looking. When I saw him he was just sitting there staring at his poop. Then he started poking it with one paw. He did this once or twice, like he was expecting it to move or something. Well, I cleaned it up, but I was laughing so I don't think he got the message that he should never do it… Continue

If you are already a reader of my blog, "A Pug's Voice" then you don't need to read this, but for those of you who haven't sampled my literary efforts I invite you to visit: http://apugsvoice.com
. Yesterday's blog includes a film of yours truly and Lizzie (try to ignore her) running. Doesn't sound so interesting? Well, if you read the blog you will find out why my running is nothing short of a miracle.
Thanks for taking a look...

Today was so much fun! *snort* My big sis (person, not dog^^) took me to the groomer, then we went to see my Mom at work. I .. sniffed .. EVERYTHING. 'Cause hey, ya never know what you might find. ^^
Then we went to the park 'cause she said "every dog should go down a slide at least once in their life." First I sat on her lap and we went down a little slide 'so I wouldn't be afraid. Then we climbed up the steps, crawled through the tunnel and up even MORE steps & then… Continue

Just a little while ago I let Hektor out into the garden. Now this is
very much his garden. Birds are not allowed nor are cats. He likes it
quiet, no noise from the neighbours at all or he lives up to his name.
Well there he was sitting on the grass half in the Sun half in the
shade. It is all right for him fur coat and all, it is 8 degrees
centigrade and quite frankly I was not going to join him. So I am
watching him from the comfort of the kitchen… Continue

Henry and I are thinging about another puppy so Linus will have someone to play with, and leave poor Lily alone, so she can enjoy her senior years in peace. I am really interested in a black girl, but it doesn't really matter. I am asking if anyone on here knows of anyone with puppies either in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, New York, or DC area. Thanks

I dropped off Baby at the groomer this morning and later got a call from her that Baby's had a seizure over there. My husband and I rushed over and she brought Baby out by the time Baby looks normal. Baby's is a healthy 7 year old pug never had he had any health issue. From the groomer, she told me when she was finished with his bath and blow dry, and about to start clipping his nails, Baby kind of fought a little bit and then went down. She quickly unleashed him from the table, he fell side… Continue
