This is Suzi, my mom and dad's pride and joy. She is one spoiled brat; spoken like a jealous sister! My parents found this rocking chair and of course she wouldn't go near it when it tilted, so my dad worked at taking off the rockers and making it steady. Now she just grabs a toy, jumps on up, and she's ready to watch TV with my parents. Yes, she is one spoiled puggy!… Continue

If you are considering making a canine addition to your home, dog adoption is an excellent way to go. While there are plenty of ways to acquire a dog, dog adoption is one of the easiest and rewarding ways to go about it. Of all the adoption methods, adopting a dog from an animal shelter is probably the most common.
Typically most animal shelters are overcrowded, under-resourced and in desperate need of animal lovers to take their pets away to a new home. Adopting a dog from an animal… Continue

Aldwin Fajardo is a journalist based in Los Gatos, California. A self-confessed dork and a proud anti-social, Aldwin started writing at age 7 then went on to become his high school's student paper editor for two consecutive years and a staff member of Polytechnic University of the Philippines’ The Catalyst.
Writing is probably the only almost-talent he possesses. He loves to sing but he is tone-deaf; likes to dance but he's got a body stiffer than an oak tree. He is formerly a… Continue

We all discuss things about our pugs, their sleeping habits, eating habits and so on.But there were some things i stumbled on,like my pugs sneezing alot especially when i was cleaning mainly using sprays such as lysol, febreeze, and it never dawned on me that with all the spring cleaning going on most of us forget pets are like people. We as humans have allergies to things and so do our animals and after all the sneezing and them rubbing their faces against our legs and rug,i decided to do some… Continue

Aldo just took the "Which breed of dog are you?" quiz and the result is PUG or BULLDOG.
You tend to be stubborn, quietly intellectual, drawn to mediocre weather, quite dominant in personality, extremely funny, fairly chilled out, not afraid of what people think, occasionally overeat, have a distaste for dirt, are prone to allergies, unafraid of most things, sneaky, cuddly, and almost loyal to a fault.…

It's now a fine spring day and your all set to garden;ready to plant and do some transplanting;when you turn around and there they are!You know you have to dig a few new holes;nothing to big or so you think. As you continue to dig your holes;they decide they're not big enough and as your taking those plants out of those little plastic containers some one decides they need water. While your planting down the line someone decides that plant doesn't look right there so as your almost ready to cry… Continue

I live in the Arcadia area in Phoenix, Arizona and I used to work at a vet hospital. I am starting a new job next month a and would like to find a vet that is familiar with Pugs. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! Thanks!

I have said in the past that Utah has really strange weather. All last
week we had great weather... even though the weekend we had great
weather. Today it is raining.
Chesty doesnt like the rain LOL! At least not windy rain haha...
He tried to fake me out when I took him out to go potty... and failed!
After he was done though he literally dragged me up 2 flights of stairs
(we live on the top floor of an apartment complex), normally he goes up

Chesty just found one of my cat's toys.... its a kinda 2 square pieces
held up by 4 plushy pillars with a ball in the center dangling...
HAHAHAHA! His head is inside of the cube thing trying to get the ball!
Oh my gut hurts watching him! Gotta find the camera!
That figures... I get the camera out and he looks at me like an idiot!

Happy Easter! I wish Bob can eat chocolate...., but he cannot... too bad!
Bob took long long nap today, and he played a lot! I try to take him outside for "potty", and Bob seems to like it :-) He look for places for few min, and he take care of his business outside.... GOOD BOY! I will continue to take him outside after supper :-) Recently, he learned to "shake" for his treat, and it is so cute! I had a wonderful day with… Continue

We took the "new" motorhome out for the long weekend to Lynx Lake. The good thing about a 1994 motorhome is, it fits our budget, the bad is you have to work out the problems. As you can see from the picture, the girls thought the campfire was the best part! They love marshmallows! Check out the two videos I uploaded, too. We ended up getting rain and SNOWED out and had to come home early, but it was fun.… Continue

Yes they make mistakes... shoot any dog
under the guidance of a mere human will
make mistakes.... So this is understandable
and quite forgivable.
Last night Calin and I went to bed. Of course
I worried about the puppy all night. And thought
for sure that he would make in his crate... and
as stated before... he didnt. He made in front of
my bathroom :) At least he kinda knows where
poo is… Continue

Here is a question for one and all. Why is it that
Chesty insists on chewing on his bone in my lap?
I mean... He will find his bone, and leap into my
lap! LOL! Its cute, and I hope that it means that
he feels safe and secure in my lap... Other than
that everyone loves him. My neighbor Knite
(Kaneeta) is moving... so all of her Thai friends
are over and just loving on the baby :)

TBH, I am quite happy with my little bundle of wrinkles
My fiance brought him home last night in his coat (awww
factor.... my dad did the same thing to my mom ;) ) And
of course I fell in love with him instantly!
Wasn't sure exactly what to name him though. We thought
about Myron, after Calin (my fiance)'s Grandfather who just
and I do mean JUST passed away. But he didnt answer to it
Thought about Drift (asian dog... Tokyo Drift... get it?) But… Continue

Bob and I went outside today, but Bob did not seem much excited.... I was asking myself why...??? I guess it was too hot for him! We were outside for 15 minutes and came back inside.
Anyways... He learned to "shake" yesterday! Iam very excited! He is 11 weeks old now. He is smart boy! I am very proud of him. I hope I can teach some more tricks, but I am not sure what trick... He can "sit", "wait", "down", and "shake" now.
Bob is taking a nap beside me peacefully... :-) I… Continue
