The little boy thief

Well I have found out that if my little Linus is not careful he will end up in doggie prison. Today while doing my work, he took several items of mine. First while I was moving furniture in my living room he took the little furniture leg carpet protects. Next he took the duster, and finally one of my shoes. I found everything in his bed, Yesterday he took my purse, took my wallet out of it unzipped it and took the dollars out. Can you believe it my little boy is a thief ! I am worried that if… Continue

Tin Tin Rocks !!!

Yesterday Tin Tin had another dose of vaccination, and though the doc said he might be a little down, he was as spunky as ever. I dont know if Tin Tin knows what "down" means, and thank God for that !!!

Oh, I must mention, the doc commented that Tin Tin had the face of an angel, and I had to add, the mischief of a devil (a chweeet one, though). We both laughed heartily at that, and the doc agreed that the pug is indeed a big dog in a small body :-)

On our way…

Miner Puggies :0)

This last weekend Jeff and I took a little trip to Wickenburg, AZ to the Vulture Mine. Sassy Sue and Daisy Doo loved it because it was a self guided tour and we could just walk the trails at our own pace. It was a great family getaway and quite relaxing, too. :0)

Tin Tin and Rusty, My Babies

Hi there, folks!!!

How ya doin? My babies, Tin Tin (Pug) and Rusty (Lab), are doing just fine and seem to be finally learning to have a blast playing with each other. Tin Tin turned 4 months old y'day and Rusty is a good 2 months older.

I must say that big as Rusty may look (he weighs a good 25 kilos for his age), he is the quieter of the two and Tin Tin, the vivacious little fellow, is the one encouraging Rusty to be boisterous, when they play together. In…

Meet Havoc!

My darling Lola Belle is losing her best friend Moo Cow, who is moving to AK with his daddy.

Sad thing since my cockers don't really care to play with her ;(

Lola's momma just had a litter of pups and I was considering a sister for Lo, so she could have some company.

Well, that's when I met handsome Havoc who was looking for a new home.

Havoc is 3 years old and needed to find a new place 'cause his mom is moving out of…

One more question about pee...

Hey guys,

Looks like peeing is the talk du jour...

I have my 2 cockers and Lola pretty well potty trained. Lola was an angel and never had an accident in the house. I was out with her every 4 hrs and she did her buz outside.

It all changed when we got 2 weeks of rain....

WHY are they afraid of going outside when it rains?

We had 2 weeks or so of rain on and off and all 3 peed in my kitchen ;(

Charlie loves swimming and jumps on any water he finds -…

The Dangerous Pug

No not in the usual way, but he or she is still a dangerous dog. You see these funny, cute, strange looking little things have a secret weapon. They are like a drug, they are addictive, think of them like chocolates, you have one and then you must have another. If you are addicted to Pugslife, you will be aware that very few Pugs live as singletons, most have siblings whether related to or not.

Mum or Dad got one and then after finding what great little dogs they have, go and get… Continue

Gabby....1 yr old pug with potty issues!

We have 3 black pugs. First, we got Lucy. she's almost 4 now. Definitely alpah in the pack. Then along came Tiger Woods, Tiger for short. He is a gentle soul. So loveable. We decided to go for 3 & got another girl puppy. Gabby just turned 1 in Jan. Gabby is a little spitfire. She makes us laugh & drives the other 2 crazy.

Lately, she's been peeing on different things; my bed, for one!! Not fun because I have…

....And She Sticks The Landing!!

Our yard is surrounded on all sides by chain link fence. There is a big gate that can be pulled across to close off the entrance from the street to the driveway. However, there is a sizable gap between the bottom of the gate and the concrete, one that a pug intent on escape would have no problem making through. For this reason, whenever Mr. Foo has to go out to relieve himself he is on leash. When the need to do his business is urgent, he jogs me across the lawn to his favorite spots,…

The Sleepy Pug

What is it about the Pug, how many other dogs have their pictures taken sleeping? You come here and there are probably hundreds of pictures of Pugs taken by their proud owners, all of them asleep.

Now we all know that there is a soporific quality to the Pug. Their gently snoring sends out Z rays, at least they do in my house. When we first had Pugs we both worked outside the home but either my Husband came home for lunch or if he could not make it I did and on many a cold winters day we… Continue

The Official Quilt Testers + 1

Well the girls were a little put out when asked to test this new quilt....Bentley the cat wanted to help! The girls checked every corner; Bentley stayed in that one spot. Even when Daisy Doo gave him some "loving"! When my family gets a new quilt from me, they can count on puggy hair, too!… Continue

The Pugs of our Lives

I just finished reading "Clara: The Early Years: The Pug Who Ruled My Life" by Margo Kaufman (1999), and it really made me reflect on my life with pugs. I have no human children, and focus most (ok, all) of my affection on my dogs, and I can't imagine my life without them. They accompany me to my studio all the time, although they show no interest in learning how to draw. They are rarely alone. One of them fanagled his way into our bed within the first few months that we got him, and now…
