Hi, he is probably feeling very miserable with himself and a good nights sleep usually sets them up. A least dogs don't have the hangups we suffer from and he will bounce back from all this. Angus used to go round like a little pirate sucking up all the sympathy he could get. He used to make me laugh because he had a tooth that stuck up and twisted his top lip so he looked really funny. I am so glad for you and that Alfie are alright. That was terrible I can only imagine what you were going through. I have to say that I have been a lucky Pug owner in the time I have had them. Like all here I am a fusser and as soon as there is/was any problems, it was off to the Vet. So much so that poor Hektor had eye drops in his eyes before he really needed them. I started with the artificial tears thinking better in than not, but in the end stopped using them as Hektor has not really had much trouble. He has had one bout of conjunctivitis so far and fingers crossed. As long as he has kept his eye that is the main thing. You keep care of yourself and Alfie and keep me in the loop. Helena
Hi, I am really sorry about little Alfie's eye. Angus had his eyelid sewn shut to heal ulcers, it was an awful thought but it did work. We had to put ointment on it through the stitches and that may seem to be impossible but no it was relatively easy because he could not flinch when he saw you coming. So perhaps this is what is going to happen with Alfie. Let me know I shall be thinking of both of you. Helena
Hi, I know how taking Pictures in bright sunlight goes. I do take many just by luck as there is no way of seeing them. Somebody needs to have a look at digital photography and work out how to solve this problem. It is like taking the laptop out into the garden and realising you can't see it.
I am glad you enjoyed your holiday and Alfie did too. I have no idea why mine just doesn't he seems to be a right home body and wants thing to continue in the same routine as always. He will travel to his favourite walks though, he does not mind that, just going places he does not know. Is his eye better? You may be able to help Mr Bentley though everyone has had a shot with this problem, he has staph infections that the Vets have found impossible to cure. Thank you for the Gift I have responded in kind as we consider you our friends to.

Hi, you know I am a nosy git and I was on Brent's page and read about Alfie's eye. Sorry to hear about it and I hope it heals quickly. Angus my old dog had so many ulcers that we could not tell you how much and some were so deep that he had his eye sewn shut twice but they all healed very well, but it is a worrying time while you wait. Hi , nice to hear from you, I seem to be never off here, have correspondence with everyone all over the world which is very exciting. I am actually quite envious of your trip to the Broads, it was always one of the things we quite fancied doing but taking our Hektor on holiday is a right pain, so he stays home and we do the exciting. I really took it badly as we always took the other two with us. So get some photo's of Alfie in his waistcoat and all his adventures because it will be super to see. Helena and Hektor.
I have 1 adorable pug named Alfie. He is my first dog, and I love him to bits. He has such a placid temperment, and is always willing to have a cuddle. I'm glad everyone here got a pug becasue they are great =)
I haven't known Alfie to not eat anything he finds -apart from once but that was when he got his paws somehow on a dishwasher tablet- but he had a good go at that too! I also haven't known him to stop eating, he is so greedy! We have to be careful a…
