Oh, I feel your pain, I lost my first pug to PDE also. Back in the early 90s there wasn't much known about the disease. Now thanks to the Pug Dog Club of America and Dr. Christine Dresser, we are education breeders and vets. Unfortunately the gene can show up in even the best pedigrees. OK, enough sad stuff. So glad you have joined Pugslife, you are going to love this site. So much to see and do here. My favorites or course are the pictures and videos, but I do enjoy the blogs, and have tried it a bit myself. Go to the groups section and see if there is one located near you. Our Arizona Pug Lovers has brought together pug friends we only knew on here, now we get to have pug meet-ups and enjoy each other's puggies in real time. Start collecting friends on here and once you do, you can do individual messages through the email like messaging section. Don't forget to greet new members, some of my favorite pug friends I have met that way. Enjoy! :0)

One time it was many hours before she was found -- so so scary. Now we leave the girls at a friends house who has a doggie daycare. They do okay there but really keep to themselves/huddle together in a corner. I'm so conflicted.…See More
