I don't know yet. I can pick them up mid November! First time pug owner. We are naming them Dooly and Schultz after the old Utica Club commercials. My husband collects the steins! I hope to learn a lot on this site.
Hi Valerie, two will be a handful and snow time, I never got round to finally training mine until we reached February as I was a bit concerned with taking him out in the cold and damp. You have certainly got snow, saw it on the news. Fortunately we have had a very mild winter so far here in Scotland and last winter was much the same, we hardly had a frost far less snow, which suits mine down to the ground. I had two Pugs previously and if my Breeder had had her way would have gone off with two this time. Now that would have been a mistake. Hektor takes after his American Dad, Sid, came from Ohio, and is intolerant of another male. My last two were Uncle and Nephew as far as we could make out with the convolutions of the pedigree. Unfortunately the young one, the nephew thought he was top dog and the Uncle thought different, trouble was our Henry was actually a big softy unless pushed and Angus did a lot of pushing. I think you may be better off with siblings. Good luck and enjoy Pugslife, been here since Hektor was a pup and he is now seven. Helena
How exciting to be waiting for not one, but two little puglets! You will truly have a thankful Thanksgiving! You are going to love Pugslife! First thing to do is get familiar with all the things you can do on this site. It's like a Facebook for pug crazed people! My favorite sections are the pictures (of course), videos, blogs, and discussions. Check out the groups section to see if you can find a pug meet-up in your neck of the woods, if not....you can make your own site like I did. I've actually met in person several members in Prescott, AZ! Start collecting friends, but be careful. Like any online site, there are precautions you should take for safety. We are so glad you have found Pugslife, now for the pug fun. :0)
Welcome to the family Valerie and Puggies. I still remember that feeling waiting till I could bring home the present incumbent, Hektor. He was born in October so spent the whole of November waiting on getting him home. We did get to meet the day we went down to see the litter but had picked him out from his photos and the fact that I think the whole litter wanted the boss gone.Helena
"And now we have lost sweet Tin Tin, beloved by Puggirl. Pugs come into our lives to brighten them, and that is exactly what they do. Sweet Tin Tin, please find our puggies that have gone on before us and tell them we still remember…"
