Hi All, I found a cute competition (and think everyone's pugs would be worthy of the prize) but I have entered my Ainsleigh in to win the title of "snuggliest Pet of 2011"For all of you have 'human'…Continue

My last little girl, Jezzie, left me on July 16th 2010 to PDE at only 3yrs 2months old...she is always remembered with love.

About my Pugs:
I have an almost 2yr old Pug, Ainsleigh who I got at 7 months old only a few weeks after my last pug passed away, she has helped me in a big way to counteract the huge loss that I felt when I lost Jez. Ainsleigh is a complete different personality than Jez, different body shape and all, even though the same fawn colour. She is also blind in one eye, so she's my special little girl.

I went to your memorial page and wept as I read your thoughts and feelings after you lost your beloved Jezzie.  It brought back memories of 1996 when I lost my first pug, Maggie.  Back then there wasn't as much information about PDE as there is today, so the vet and I were were working from text books.  Your sweet memories comforted the old hurt I've been carrying around; thank you for listing your site on this page.  :0)

Stacey, since writing that blog things have moved on a pace and another member is negotiating to purchase the site, she says things will stay the same, so watch this site. I am sure there will be an announcement soon. Helena

Hi Stacey, yes he is such a lovely little fellow, my personal teddy bear. We found Jack after his breeder advertised him because she was having trouble finding him a home. When we met we found out that Jack had lost his eye after being bitten on the face by his brother at 6 weeks, which pierced his eye and they were unable to save it, he knows no different though and is a great little cyclops. He occasionally thumps into things on his left but he is very adept to getting about like there is nothing wrong. my husband fell in love he said at first sight..  Our family adores this little man. Even disabled dogs need love.

Hi Stacey,

I came across your memorial page for Jez and what a BEAUTIFULLY written story you have for your beloved Jez.  It made my eyes weld up with tears and I can't even imagine the pain you felt for your special rescue who I'm sure loved you unconditionally.  I am happy to hear you were able to allow another Pug in your life and hope she is helping you heal and keep you happy.

Take care,

Jackie & gUiDo

Hi Stacey, I am sorry in taking so long to reply to your message.  We have been having some problems with our internet provider and it has been either so slow or dropping out nearly all the time.  We are still waiting for Telstra to fix things on there end as well as fixing our home phone as that can be so static.  Anyway, fellow Australian, isn't it great being on Puglife.  Pug's are just adorable.  Eli is 5 years young and he is our little baby/toddler.  He is spoilt and he deserves to be... and... he doesn't do anything wrong.  Who can get away with a wrinkled face, curly tail, and rolls on their body and still be called BEAUTIFUL?  A PUG!!!   LOL. :DD

Welcome to the Family Stacey and Ainsleigh, sorry about Jezabelle, it is a darned shame to lose a dog to that horrible disease. Helena and Hektor

Yes Lulu is missed each day, she was my son's special girl, but she is missed by all, and I think she is missed very deeply by her sister Lily, they were never without each other, and Lily lost a bit of herself that day too.
