- I rather suspect we may get into trouble about asking for donations though nobody has approached me. I know that in my UK website we cannot advertise and I have kept to that as much as possible though many people do here. I have taken the line now to use the more private e-mail facility but I will now only use to contact people who I know will not take hopefully offence. If we get complaints we will just have to confess that we were only trying to help and after all we are a site with the welfare of Pugs at heart. Helena

- Hi, yes it has turned out that if they are right they suspect that it might possibly be the people responsible for the poor dogs condition. This woman turned up at two shelters 10 miles apart and said she had found the dog roaming the street. They are pretty sure that the other one is Carina's sister. She is not in as bad a conditions as her sister but there are similarities. I have had a wee bit of stick for some of this but most people have been positive and agreed with us. I will keep you in the loop if you will do the same. Regards Helena Thanks for asking us to be your friend as well.

Lucy said… - Buddy update: He is doing well. Still on a prescription diet and loving the fresh chicken and rice.But his elimination is back to normal and he is jumping around like nothing happened. It is like he became a puppy again and he is 6 years old!

- Hello, just read you comment to me under your picture of the three kids of yours. ittybitty does fantastic work, as you know I commissioned him to do one each sculpt of my kids, even though it is the same mold he did such a fantastic job that it would never be known. They are so individual and to the smallest detail like the live pug. When Malia has the new litter and I pick which of them I shall keep, once the little one grows up some, I shall ask him to do another for me, so I will have all four of them, he is very good!

- Yes, I think this is going to end up a flip of the coin so to say. I really wanted to keep Jeb's sister Stormie, the little girl just would not leave the need for being alfa alone, not only with Malia but the boys also. I think Malia would be okay with a girl, there is not doubt the boys would welcome it, gee I wonder why. Need to talk to ittybitty about temperments. Still a girl seems to be the way to go.
