I am an animal lover from back when I was young. For several years I have taught dogs and cats how to behave in a loving way. I have also done several re-homing of all sorts of animals. I have a way with animals that stuns and surprises many people. I am planning on continuing my work with animals on my own time for many years to come.
How many pugs own me:
About my Pugs:
I only have one pug. He is a fawn boy with those beautiful chinese markings on his forehead and is very intelligent. He has been with me since he was 8 weeks old and as of Tuesday, February 22 he will be 2 years old. Bud is litter box trained, and knows many tricks. He gets along with cats and loves to meet everyone we encounter but he really loves to meet other dogs while we are out for our walks.

Bud absolutely loves cats. He pouted for two weeks when we found homes for the kittens that we had. He loves to play with all cats but you all know that not many cats like dogs at all. He really gets upset when he meets a cat that won't play with him. Fortunately, he gets over it quickly. Today was Bud's 2nd Birthday and he got a brand new toy and a bowl of ice cream to celebrate it. Yes, I know he is spoiled and I am going to keep doing it. I am also in the process of fighting to get his AKC papers but the place we got him from is making it difficult. Not impossible but it will be a bit of a struggle.
Bud got his name because we live in a small town in the country in upstate NY. Bud Redneck Riches just fit and with him being a country pup with a rich man attitude it just fit since he was a pup. Now he thinks he knows it all like a millionaire but is still a huge cuddle bug when it comes to his family. We all love him and spoil him.
Thank you all for the great welcome, very much appreciated
Well Bud I am impressed at your undoubted talents, now if you could teach our Hektor to love cats, or at least Jess that would be a good thing. I did live with a German Shepherd who loved cats unfortunately they never stayed around to find out. It is lovely to learn more about each other. Helena and Hektor
Oh there's little Bud! Hi back at ya! You have such an interesting full name. It would be fun to learn the meaning of it. Bud, be good to that cute grand baby and maybe you can play together when she gets bigger!
Hi Sandra and Bud... welcome! And who is this in the darling photo?
I have a pug (almost 11 months old) and a cat, too. They love each other, but often I can't keep my little Izzy from following her cat brother around EVERYWHERE. It can be maddening, because eventually the cat has had enough of it and growls.
Izzy and I will look forward to more posts and photos from you. :)
Welcome to the Family Sandra and Bud soon to be two. I take it the cats taught him the art of litter box training, always thought that the Pug was more cat sometimes than dog, my neighbours Cat, Jess, disagrees as he and Hektor are always at logger heads, and a more stubborn pair I have yet to meet.
