About Me:
I am a part time audio engineer (amongst a lot of other things) and a full time mommy to a Pug named Lady and a Pomeranian named Koko.

Growing up I usually had Chihuahuas and miniature dobermans. Never once did I have a chance to see them grow old with me; they were either stolen and on one occasion chased away (not by family but by some strangers trying to 'catch' the dog). Because of this constant heart ache, for a long time, I gave up on owning a dog. Its been almost 10 years now since my last pet dog. Due to a recent move, I was surprised by my brother with Lady; she has never left my side since.

She is my first pug and I absolutely love her! I never saw myself owning a pug until the day I first saw her; She was the cutest little thing! I get teased a lot by people who do not find pugs cute, but they just don't understand that their so called "ugliness" is part of their charm. Plus, how can something that looks like a mix between Yoda and an Ewok not be adorable!?
How many pugs own me:

About my Pugs:
Her name is Lady, although she doesn't act like one most of the time. She was born on 7/21/14. She seems to be growing smaller than the "average" pug according to my online searches.
Lady is very lean, annoyingly active, and loves all dogs and people. She greets strangers the same way she greets me when I come home... which kind of makes me jealous :) She is also a problematic shedder and has severe separation anxiety.
Lady absolutely loves her life partner Koko (a Pomeranian her age). It did take Koko a bit of time to warm up to Lady, mainly because Lady kept pouncing on her wanting to play, but now they are two peas in a pod.
She is a house dog and also believes that mommy's bed is her bed too. She is the best to play hide and seek with. One time it took her so long to find me (10 min) that she cried hysterically when she found me.

She likes to make me worry by running out on the street when someone opens the door. I have been trying to train her and she is getting better; i also suspect the older she gets the less inclined she is to run away.

Overall, she is one amazing dog :)

Welcome to Pugslife, the Face Book for crazy pug people!  I haven't been on in a while and first found your videos.  How does Koko like the new little Lady?  Enjoy your time on here, and keep adding those cute videos.  One with both the "kids"?  Pug Hugs from Prescott, Arizona.  :0)

Hi Natalie, I moved across the water to Dunfermline, which is another ex Capital of Scotland in 2003. No too far away so I can get back and forward in the train. Yes Edinburgh is kind of special with the Castle right in the middle and our wee Mountain, Arthur's Seat. I used to live on the side of that wee Mountain and sometimes it did not feel as small. You would have had a great view of the Castle where you were.

I am hoping that Hektor will be fine with his op, the worst part is the recovery. When he had his Entropion op it was mid summer and Hektor has itchy parts on his neck and shoulders, well they managed to shave right where they were. These are not so good presently either because he has had to have an antibiotic which upsets his flora and fauna and starts up the yeast problem for another bit. He is very unsure which is not my Pug, he is the sort who is right in there normally but he is barking literally at shadows right now. I hope the lovely Lady is behaving herself.

I have to say I could do with a bit of your weather right now, we have a really cold wind and the occasional blustery showers, a nice bit of heat a la Los Angeles would not come a miss, mark you I think many of your countrymen and women on the East Coast would like it.

Hi Natalie, sorry I have taken so long to answer, I seem to get distracted. Hektor has an eye operation scheduled for 5th March, only one eye has now got a mature cataract so only his left eye will be operated on. So good, I don't think they would have done both together anyway. So not only will I have a Pug with plastic Surgery he will have a bionic eye, well a new lens. Hope Lady is doing well, I think that is a perfect name for a Lady Pug, they are such Ladies. I had a little rescue corgi in my youth who was called Lassie, but truly she was a lady to her paw tips. Hektor and I are very happy to be Lady and your friend. We both hope to be of help to both of you. If you are so inclined you can say a wee prayer for him today, he is off to see his eye doctor about his Cataracts.
