Hi Nancy, so great to finally see a pic of Cooper! He is adorable!! Your husband has provided such wonderful information about pugs. Its been so helpful! Omar is doing great. We just love him to pieces- now I understand what my other pug loving friends have been saying all these years. I look forward to talking to you and hearing all about Cooper. Wish Houston was closer to Fort Lauderdale :( Take care, Shanon
Nancy, thought I would let you know how Hektor is on the raw diet. Last week I finally saw an end to the gloopy eyes scenario. It has taken around five weeks for this to stop but Thursday seem to be the end of it. He is back to playing like a puppy, he runs around yipping and seems to have got his second wind.
The only prolbm I am having is that his stool (poop) is very loose sometimes, but this is a small price to pay for seeing him so much better. Helena
Thank you for your kind welcome! Cooper is darling! Tango is the apple of my eye and my daughter Meagan who is away at university-she misses the "snores" of her baby while she is away from home. Tango has had a difficult weekend unfortunatly. I will post on our wall what is going on with her and ask for any advise.
Hi Nancy, it has been a series of ups and downs so far, he does still have what I term as sleep in his eyes in the morning, it is white or grey though rather than green and the whites of his eyes are now back to white. We had a little set back due to me feeding him too much of a mixture. We cannot get the food you get, at the moment he is on something called prize choice, I think, it contains minced bone so I am happy with that. I unfortunately wound one of their mixtures which is in nugget from and contained vegetables as well as a little heart and liver, well it actually contained sweet corn as well though this was not listed. That started his ears up and we spent a week getting them fixed. I now wash them out with cider vinegar and water 50/50 once a week. He also got a very great deal looser in the poop department to the point when I have actually added boiled rice. He is much better now though. I had him at the Vet on Friday to show her how well he was and she was very surprised but not shocked when I told him he had not used the optimmune drops for three weeks. He has a wet nose for the first time in his life and he is so playful, he is like a puppy. We unfortunately found a cyst on his left foot between his toes that day as well, but it seems to be going down and healing since she burst it. Rome wasn't built in a day but I think it is working. Helena
