I always bring Lilo to desa park for running only. Not for yamcha. Haha.. I dun like to bring her to anywhere near food cause she loves food so much that she will be barking all the time until we give her food. Actually i used to bring her to coffee street at menjalara. We sit outside and the restaurant's owner dun really say anything. U can bring Dory to IKANO.. can walk around but not inside cafe, i think. but i heard there's few bars in Bangsar is pet friendly. U can search through the net. Lilo is very very STICKY.. its like glue. Even if I wanna go to the toilet, she will follow. She cant live alone. She needs to stick and glue to ppl. Hahaha
omg such small world! so hows lilo doing? my dory is very very cheeky lar..she is so observant of me and my hubby, cant leave us alone! must make us look at her all the time..i dont really take her out to desa park, coz the shops there are not pet friendly, i cant sit in the cafe wif her, even outside tables :( where else to take our pugs ar?
no worries, small matter. hope you'll enjoy lilo. where did u n family adopt her?
haha, sure many will love her, pugs in general they are adorable, friendly and very manja. these characteristics can eventually steal anyone's heart. even my husband fall in love with jade the min we arrived home. tiny fella when met hiley....they had good fights n hiley always being the grumpy one running around asking to be carried as jade jumping trying to bite her ears!
enjoy your baby lilo, puppy hood only once so let her enjoy as much, as for u n family...have a good exploration journey. sleep tight!
pugs are cute n loving. mine r super naughty at time n love attention...well with hiley my 8 year old fella, she's ok so far except she goes crazy n drama. as for jade my 6 year old, she's the spoilt kid n we had so much experience with her. she was diagnose with bad skin which we thought just bad. but unfortunately she has malasezia which can be common in pugs n even other breed mainly due to our tropical climate. this issue made us run around to search for solution, she had to go through blood test like twice (traumatic for her), went to upm (vet research centre) n finally we put her on zd food, special diet. in her report, she's allergy to many things even fish (fish is good for dogs due to omega values), cotton, jute n flies. we had to clear most stuff at home too. Then she's also has allergy towards certain plants like taiwanese grass n acasia (cactus).
When that's settled, I had to go for project in southern...and my hubby was in middle east for business so another issue came. We left them with a fren who stayed in at our place to help, but they arent close to her and started to miss us and maybe thinking we've left them. Immune went down and were attacked by tick fever, yeah 2 at 1 go...it traumatised my fren. i was so worried. well, tick fever...also due to tropic reason.
as for em, pugs are generally easy to handle. keep them clean and protected with tick collar or frontline. try to bruch coat once a day so they wont shed so much indoor especially when sharing bed. keep eyes, ears and nose area clean and dry else they'll start rubbing around sofa or even wall! overall keep them in airy, dry and clean indoor environment as humidity level's high especially when it rains. at times can cause fungal infection on skin, ears and paws.
u can check all these during shower...can use small towell to clean hidden areas. if u start training during puppy usually they'll get used to it later. it'll become routine soon. get some ear cleaning solution and keep their nails short. mine are difficult to handle now as the quick in their nails grow really fast comparing to my shepherd dog.
i enjoy cleaning them cos it's the time i'll talk to them till they fall asleep. except for nail trimming, they'll disappear in seconds when the see my opening drawer to get nail clipper! hahaha...but it's fun having them. they are babies who refuse to grow up!
nice to meet you. anything in particular, just drop some lines ok. remember, when u love em they'll love more...without conditions!
