I have been an animal lover all of my life, was raised in farm country and have had a ranch with my late husband.Dogs have always been a part of my life but Zoe is my first Pug. I now have been stricken with "Pug fever" and hope I never recover.
How many pugs own me:
I am owned by two brindle pugs; Zoe, who came into my life at 11 weeks old. Her sister, Chanel came to live with us the next day when my 2 legged daughter adopted her. We all lived together. When I moved to my own home both sisters came to live with me. They were born on 12/24/2011.
About my Pugs:
Zoe and Chanel are about 1/8th Boston Terrier and are brindle. Zoe is brindle on one side of her body and fawn on the other, she has a double curled tail. Chanel is the cuddler of the two and never misses an opportunity to be in my arms. My daughter placed her in a home for a week when I moved and her situation changed. They brought her back because they didn't have the time they thought they would for her. (I think she missed her sister and her human family)Their reunion was mutually ecstatic and I swore I would never separate them again. They love to "go for a ride" and go almost everywhere with me. They love visiting the grandkids an go in the fort, the tree house and down the slide with no complaints. They don't even care if they're the police or the 'bad guy'
Hektor and I are delighted to be your friends, probably again, I think we were in my other clothes as the Wee Woman. Hektor is the current one and boy he will remain an only as he is a chip of his American dad who will not tolerate another male in the house which is fine as he was a stud but his boy is just the same.
Thank you, Helena, I love me girls. I usually just call them "Pugs", even though they are actually "Bugs" because it's simpler. I love all animals and would one day like to have a Standard Poodle, but Chanel and Zoe are my babies and are spoiled rotten, as I'm sure your dogs have been; LOL. I have lots of grandkids of all ages (two legged kind), and the girls have been the best with them. Do you have any fur-babies currently?
Hi Mary, I was lurking on Arizona Pug Club again and spotted your girl sniffing the Butt of the Gnome. I though she was a Brindle and discovered on your page she is a bit of a mix. We have friend who is now into French Bulldogs but still has what is now old Stan the Pug. When I had old Henry, Stan was the baby, but I digress, he has a French Bulldog cross Boston Terrier. You can see her parentage in her head shape and otherwise you would not know. Looking at your two I can just about see the Boston but it is not clear cut like his girl, they look perfectly Puggy to me.
I'm in Prescott, too! Welcome to you, Zoe, Chanel (my fav perfume, too!), and your daughter. Let's meet up at the courthouse to walk the puggies? Also, join Arizona Puglovers on here. We've had a couple of meetups. You will love this site, so many pug pictures. I especially love to read the blogs. Start looking around and collecting friends. So glad you joined us, you've found a great site! :0)
"I'm lucky as i work from home and i don't travel anywhere unless my furbabes can go,most of ours are day trips and they enjoy it as much as i do as they have many friends out around here,i will not go anywhere unless they can go and…"
When traveling and can't take our babies with us we used to have a friend stay with them at the house. She let us know that they spend most of their time by the front door waiting for mama to come home. That broke my heart. Velma even tries to escape to "look for mama." One time it was many hours before she was found -- so so scary. Now we leave the girls at a friends house who has a doggie daycare. They do okay there but really keep to themselves/huddle together in a corner. I'm so conflicted.…See More
