Antlers and Nylabones...any thoughts?

My little Chi Chi at 18 months is still in quite the chewy stage, and loves her Nylabones (the hard ones for energetic chewers). So far she has only put a bit of wear on the ends and only chews with supervision for about five minutes at a stretch. My friend reacted with alarm at Nylabones, saying they are dangerous, but I feel that they are fine for most small dogs with supervision.

Good to hear ChiChi chews with supervision :)

Greenies are definately bad.  Be careful with the ends of the nylabones - sometimes the little ball shape can get bit off and swallowed.  It doesn't come up or go out, but stays in the tummy to cause problems. I've heard good things about the antlers though.

Have you tried giving her a frozen carrot?

I have a 7 year old boy, a 3 year old girl (she is in the pic), a 2 year old girl and a 1 year old girl and a 6 month old girl pug, very busy! Your pug is just to cute!
