PUK PUK, is practically possesed by a legion of puppies & have a great spirit about him.Our 1year 2 mth old pug just got ran over by a 4WD Truck on April's fool 2010! It was no joke when we drove anxiously 5hrs to the city to get his broken legs & pelvic fixed. If he cauld talk he would probably say " YOU CAN TAKE MY LEGS BUT YOU AINT GONNA TAKE MY SPIRIT ROOOAARRRR" We are looking into giving him swimming theraphy. I am positive that he will walk again 1 day!

Linn, I know it's been awhile now since Pukpuks accident. Is he still improving? I know you said he was doing just fine, I'm only hoping that he is even better than fine now.

What was probably the good thing is that they are milk chocolate which has a much less percentage of cocoa in it, had they been dark chocolate, it could have been a bit different much higher percentage of cocoa in that stuff. My first pug did the same thing ate half a Hersheys Candy Bar, that had my heart thumping just a little bit. He was okay also. Thank goodness.

HI Linn, it's been better than 24 hours now and no one is showing any signs of discomfort. I'm very leary of chicken bones because they splinter so easly, they can perforate the stomach and intestines while passing through the system, then a huge vet bill follows. I consider myself very lucky this time. Again, chicken bones are quite scary for me. I've seen what can happen when things go wrong because of them with others pets. Not good.

That's good to hear, don't be in too much of a hurry, I have a feeling he has quite a few years left in him. It is good to hear he is on the mend. I have to keep a close eye on one of mine today, she managed to get ahold of a chicken bone yesterday afternoon, must make sure it will pass good, don't know how much of it she ate, even a small amount is not good.

That's is super news Linn, eyes are the worst thing to go wrong, it just progresses sooo quickly, glad you took him to another person. He's getting better now, and equally improtant you have peace of mind. Glad you did it and I'm happy that it is something that turned out to be correctable without loosing it. Give him a big hug for me!

Linn, I'm always on guard about eye injuries with a pug they can develop into something much worse so quick, I don't like the cloudy part of it, have you looked as close as possible to see if there might be a slight indentation of scratch on it. I know you have spent a considerable amount of money on the little guy so far with his leg. Eyes though, they are really tough ones. If there is another vet in your area I think (were it me) I would be making an appointment to get a second opinion. I do hope that it turns out to be something not serious and the cloudiness goes away quickly, just don't like the cloudiness part of it. Please keep me informed. Wish could be of more help to you.

"Update my boy milo still has them and is 10 soon. Raw diet calms the severity and frequency but he had one just now. He spaced out, got dizzy and flopped over onto his side. Went rigid for ten seconds and back to normal"
